Powerball jackpot is biggest since July

Powerball players have a chance Wednesday night to win a share of the largest jackpot up for grabs since this summer. The $293 million annuity would be worth $186.5 million if claimed as a lump sum.

Back on July 30, a single ticket sold in New Hampshire won $478 million, the eighth-largest jackpot in U.S. history. Players in our state have won five jackpots, ranging from $74.5 million to $188 million.

But there's more than the jackpot on the line. For friends who are not regular players, please remind them to check their tickets carefully to see if they have won a prize.

And adding the $1 Power Play could turn $50,000 into $250,000, or $1 million into $2 million.

We have had instant tickets with lifetime prizes on them before. Not aware of one in the works that will look like the Lucky for Life draw game.

oh, ok LZ! Seems like i do remember him now since i read your post. David Winstead of Nashville,was the third winner of the North Carolinian to find one of its $10 million tickets. So only one left out here in LZ Land. So i'm guessing it's out in play somewhere in a store to be bought! Well, it won't be me winning it, cause i don't play it anymore! Just play this ticket one time, it was a loser, i said to myself, that's the last time for that! 30 bucks is not chicken change, haven't bought one since! Just sticking to all the draw games. so the $1,$2, and $3 dollar rolls are only 200.00? $5 and $10 rolls are $300.00? am i right or wrong? NC Lottery
There are $300 worth of tickets on rolls of $1, $2, $3, $5 and $10 games. There are $600 worth of tickets on a roll for a $20 game and $900 worth of tickets on a roll for a $30 game.

Y'all started out with 4 top prize of the Ultimate Millions tickets. I remember the 1st winner from Lexington,NC and i remember the 2nd winner from Rocky Mount,NC. But who was the 3rd winner from this game? Because there is only one Ultimate Millions ticket left to win. I must have missed this winner. One left and it's taken this long to get the last ticket won? The way they flying off the shelf! Must still be in the warehouse! 30 million printed? i would think it would be in the warehouse until it's ordered. I don't buy them! But curious why it's not been won already! The only way to win at this game is to do like I did and stop playing. I work in a store and it is a crying shame how much money is made from poor people living a dream. They never win anything but money back most of the time or nothing.When someone buys 9 tickets in a row and not one winning ticket something is wrong and yes it happens a lot.Lottery is the worst thing to every happen to North Carolina.

Well, I guess it's time to play my fortune cookie numbers i got on Wednesday night. I should have played them, cause on Thursday morning, i did noticed that there was two numbers right on my Fortune cookies numbers. They are all high numbers. I have noticed all the latest draws have been all kinda high numbers. So maybe they will be high again this time, cause i'm playing them this Saturday night! To be honest, I feel no, what a minute I know, tickets and lottery is rigged up, no one from small towns win like that, and its mostly people in the mountain or triangle area that win. That is not a coincidence either, also my comment never gets post. What's up with that?

No actors, just real players. In fact we've had four people win the Powerball jackpot since we started ten years ago. We also have players regularly win smaller prizes in the drawings.

There are all kinds of possibilities when it comes to the games the lottery can offer. While we don't have tickets in those price points now,who knows what the future will bring?

How can we be confident that on the first Tuesday all the old tickets have been pulled from the stores. Of course no one really knows since the new tickets aren't differentiated from the old one. Thats the only reason I shy away from scratch tickets NC Lottery
Every First Tuesday we launch a set of new games to give our players options. It doesn't mean there aren't big prizes to be won by playing the older games. Tickets for games stay on the shelves until all of the top prizes are won.

You seem to don't listen people complain and you still do what you want if I had the money I'd hire a lawyer and have the lottery scratch offs investigated 4 years ago it used to be fun to play each year is getting worse and worse I've noticed you can't win on a $30 ticket so the new $50 tickets even more stupid Christmas tickets suck and I feel sorry for your Christmas Reef this probably won't get posted but I'm going to call the news see if somebody will investigate yuchi people NC Lottery

Keep in mind we get hundreds of thousands of entries into each drawing. So if you want to win just keep entering your tickets.

We are not getting reports of this from other players. It could be something with your internet service provider? Anytime you see a technical issue and want to report it, the best way is to click the HELP link at the top of the screen and submit an ONLINE SUPPORT form, that way the tech support folks will see it and they can tell if multiple users are having the same problem.
