First $100,000 winner in Cash 5 $100K Days

That was fast. Just one drawing into the Cash 5 $100K days promotion, someone has already won double the starting jackpot.

The jackpot had reset for Monday's drawing. And when that happens during this promotion, the starting jackpot will be $100,000 instead of the regular $50,000 amount.

The lucky ticket was sold in Guilford County, at the Circle K on Norcross Road in Colfax. The winning numbers were 7-17-18-31-36.

So the jackpot is reset to $100,000 for Tuesday's drawing. The promotion lasts through Dec. 10. As always, the jackpot could be hit, split, or grow bigger. Good luck to all the Cash 5 players out there.

Where is a quad for NC over3 1/2 years. People are still playing them but one should have come out by now.NC Lottery
There is a 1 in 10,000 chance of every different Pick 4 combination being the winning numbers in every drawing. Since there are 10 quads, there is a 1 in 1,000 chance in every drawing that one of the quads will be drawn. Those odds don't change over time. We'd love to see one because we know those numbers are popular with many players. But no matter what numbers a person likes to play, they have to have the same chance of winning as anyone else's. I enjoy the subscription for the Cash 5, Powerball, Mega Millions, and Luck for Life, but why you can't add Pick 3 and Pick 4 to the list???NC Lottery
At this time, the commission that oversees the lottery has approved ticket sales only for the games that are currently available through subscription. At some point in the future, more games may be available this way.

Manalle Earnhardt, who won the LFL Game was to pass away, GOD forbid that would happen. Who would get the money after that? Her beneficiary? or what is written down in her will? NC Lottery
Under rules of the game, payments are made for 20 years to the winner or the winner's estate. After the 20 years, winners continues to get payments for the rest of their life.

Lower Prizes should increase too. 4 out of 5 = 500. 3 out of 5 = 25. 2 out of 5 = 2. a little more will go a long way.

I suggested this 2years ago , moved from Ga, were they raised the minimum From 50,000 to 125,000 & ppl went wild, over their Fantasy 5, NC lottery should keep this 100,000 minimum , The jackpot rises faster & higher I That makes me want too play more often .,,

the top prize is worth the dollar.but come on! you can afford more then $5 for three numbers. that's a shame and $1 for two numbers. COME ON!!!!!!! and you know that the majority of us will win the lower amount. up those WIN's. OK then we will be in business. at lest to 1% of 100.000. it wouldn't hurt to do 100 or 1,000 with ALL of the money you are making off of the games.NC Lottery
If the lower prizes were larger, that would mean the jackpots would not grow as fast. And, like you said, $1 for the chance to win a big jackpot is pretty cool - that's what most players buying a ticket are hoping to win. The lottery doesn't keep its profits, the money benefits education.
