Wreath of holiday tickets won in 'Gift Exchange'

After three weeks of fun and three weeks of $100 in the Great Gift Exchange, we have our winner of the grand prize of great thrill.

Kathy Smith, please email communication@lotterync.net ASAP so we can talk about putting in your hands a wreath of holiday scratch-off tickets worth $300 plus a $100 gift card for good measure.

From quirky to hilarious, we enjoyed all the stories of receiving gifts folks shared with us on Facebook and Twitter.

As the season marches toward 2017, we are looking forward to meeting more instant winners. There are still two $1 million prizes in the Holiday Millions game and two $150,000 prizes in the Holiday Riches game.

Who will ring in the new year with a big win? We wish everyone the best of luck.

Through subscription, we've had a $20,000 Powerball, a $15,000 Mega Millions winner, and a $149,970 Cash 5 winner. Last year, ticket sales for games available via subscription were .84% of total sales. You have the same chance of winning on a ticket bought at a store or online. Just waaay more people playing the traditional way ;-0

I too am from Roxboro like the other player and boy these Christmas tickets are not hitting on anything. Got 14 tickets last week on one game and not one single winner. Went to Virginia 2 days later to do some shopping stopped at Hess and bought some of their Christmas tickets and every other one I hit and they have 3 games on each ticket. Sure was fun scratching over there, maybe yall should go over there and let them show you guys how to keep people happy and playing and if they can do 3 games on one ticket I know North Carolina can.NC Lottery

It would be nice to see the cash 5 prices change a little so that it is more affordable. I know that Virginia has it where you can play for as little as 0.25 all the way up to $1. Any chance something like this might happen in the future?NC Lottery
There could be changes to any game in the future. But if you change the options for wagers, you also have to change the prize plan for the game. Prize money you could win comes from ticket sales :-)

It would be great to win a big prize. I've been playing since NC lottery started, but haven't won anything more than $2. In fact I haven't seen any second chance winners from around the Roxboro area.NC Lottery
It is not easier or more difficult to win in a drawing if you are from Roxboro than if you live anywhere else in the state. In Roxboro, you're playing the lottery with about 8,000 neighbors. If you lived in Charlotte, you'd be playing alongside 1 million other people. It's all just a matter of luck. Good luck!
