First $100 winner in the 'Great Gift Exchange'

Last week we kicked off the Great Gift Exchange, giving folks a chance to turn the occasion they got a goofy gift into $100 - or maybe even a wreath of our new holiday scratch-off tickets.

For the first of three opportunities to win, we asked folks about an odd clothing gift they had unwrapped. From all the eligible entries, we drew one at random for a $100 gift card. The winner is Chris Harrington:

There's a chance to win another $100 gift card on Friday. It's easy. Just respond to the Great Gift Exchange post on our Facebook or Twitter page for a chance to win. Promotion Rules.

Everyone who entered the first drawing - and everyone who participates this Friday and next - will be entered for a chance to win the grand prize of great thrill: The wreath of holiday tickets. It's worth $300 but could win $1 million. The grand prize winner will get a $100 gift card too.

You know what I got money and I have fun playing the lottery or used to we are going to hire some professionals to start riots in all the Lottery offices we can fight over the president so we can fight over the North Carolina crooked Lottery do people print winners but you don't let them out there I know people that spend a lot of money hoping to win something something I will hope for Christmas you put some winners out there so people giving away tickets can look like somebody but you're greedy selfish and needy and you wish to take from the poor you just wanted to take poor people's money and give them nothing the sad part of it is the schools get nothing your fancy cars your 50 people and your new machine it's a shame the poor people have to pay scratch offs are the worst I've ever seen you should be ashamed I'm going to give everybody $5 you was because I used to give them tickets but we know you're greedy greedy greedy Grinch's Thanked again

Save your money people between the three of us we spent $140 and scratch off tickets one $10 ticket won $10 one $3 ticket one $8 and all the $5 tickets were losers it's not luck today don't print it or release them save your money and buy something for yourself

We have social media promotions just like we have the Lucke-Rewards drawings and promotions. Both are open to those who choose to participate. In our social media promotions, we are unable to offer email as an option.

I enjoy soooooooo much buying tickets/scratch offs and sometimes winning some money and then entering my tickets to build up points but I soooooooooooo much would like to one day check my email and see an email from LuckeZone saying that I won a big jackpot lol lol, I dream often of what I would do with my winnings. Well just some random thoughts lol but I do enjoy playing, it's loads of fun Thank you for the entertainment!

Off subject, but man oh man the cash5 payouts have been rockin big time !!! From 10/31- 11/7, only one week, there have been five $100k or more payouts. NCEL, this is by far the best promo ever. Way better then that bonus cash5 promo you had last year. So much for everyone saying the cash5 is gonna be sooo much harder to win with those 2 extra numbers. Or you guys saying the jackpots will build and get very large. I have not seen that yet....
