It turned out to be a big week for our players, with two lucky people winning $1 million.
Jimmy Bean of Kernersville is the first person to win $1 million playing the new Extreme Millions scratch-off game.
“It’s pretty incredible, I have to say,” Bean said. “It was just my time.”
Bean, a maintenance technician, had just finished work when he stopped at the Quality Mart on Hanes Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem and bought the winning ticket.
Bean, a married father of two, said some of the prize money would be used to pay bills. He added that he and his wife might take a trip to Las Vegas.
Extreme Millions will create 30 winners of $1 million to $10 million, making it the biggest instant game ever offered in the state.
Kenneth Sutton Jr. of Hayesville is our other $1 million winner. He won playing the Holiday Millions scratch-off game.
The handyman bought winning ticket at the Big D on U.S. 64 in Hayesville.
He plans to use some of the money to get a new truck for Christmas.

What exactly does "approximate overall odds, including breakeven prizes are 1:3.36" really mean ? This is a on the back of a 10 $ ticket. I bought 7 consecutive tickets and won nothing !!!
Merry Christmas to all the winners and to those that keep trying to win big!!
Bless you all!
