$1 million-winning Powerball ticket sold in Mecklenburg County

Powerball players, make sure you double check your tickets! One lucky player has a $1million winning ticket.

The ticket for Wednesday’s drawing was sold at the Food Lion on North Main Street in Cornelius and matched all five white balls.

Here are the winning numbers: 21-31-64-65-67 and 5 for the Powerball.

You’ve only got 180 days to claim your prize.

If you didn’t play this time you’ve got another chance Saturday night. The jackpot is $266 million annuity or $176.2 million cash.

My wife and I have bought quite a few of the 20X the cash and have not won a thing not even five dollars to make up for one ticket. I don't know where the winning tickets are but they are not here in Roxboro and everyone is saying the same even the store operators. Come on guys and get something going.

Winners of 2nd chance drawings get an email or phone call and have 30 days to claim their prize. If you win you will not see your name on the winners page till you respond. Trust me I won a small one two years ago. Congrats to the dirty dozen that won $1k on the first 12 drawings. The name release/posting of that contest was unlike all the others.

This is what I found on the winners page! Just click "ALL" on the pull down tab 1/2 way down the page. So if you didn't get an email by now, oh well. I imagine there close to a million entries. What happens to unclaimed money? NC Lottery
By law half of all unclaimed prize money is used to fund other prizes.The other half goes directly into the Education Lottery Fund which is distributed to school districts across the state.
