First Red Ball drawn in new Pick 3 evening promotion

We’re only four days into our Pick 3 Double Draw promotion, and already evening players had their first chance to win twice using the same ticket. 

The first Red Ball was drawn Tuesday night. This means two Pick 3 drawings took place, and players got paid for both sets of numbers.

Pick 3 players with winning numbers won $164,000 in the first drawing and $98,000 in the second drawing.

Here’s how Double Draw works. Before every evening Pick 3 drawing, a ball is drawn from the Double Draw machine. The machine has six white balls, and one Red Ball. When the Red Ball is drawn, two Pick 3 drawings happen. When a white ball is drawn, only one takes place. 

Then, one white ball is removed from the Double Draw machine for the following night’s drawing.  This means the first Double Draw drawing will have six white balls, the drawing on the next night will have five, the third will have four, etc., until the Red Ball is drawn.

Since the Red Ball was drawn Tuesday, it all starts over tonight with six white balls and the Red Ball.

The extra fun goes until March 26.
