With the eight match-ups for round one of the Scratch Madness promotion in the books, the Elite 8 round is set to start Monday. Whichever ticket goes all the way to win the final contest on Monday, April 4 will be worth 10X the Lucke-Rewards points for the rest of the month!
But without further ado, let's take a look at which tickets received the most votes to advance to the next round - and who won $50 in free scratch-off tickets just for voting on the promotion posts on our Facebook page!
Let's start with the results in the Blue Ridge Bracket:
- Monday, March 14: (#1) Ultimate Millions lived up to its billing as the top seed and trounced (#16) Mighty Bucks. Dorothy Talbert Woodworth is the winner. "Oh my goodness," Woodworth said when she found out she won. "I am so excited to see this!"
- Tuesday, March 15: (#9) Mega Bucks edged (#8) $300,000 Jackpot. Renee Brock is the winner. We asked her how she chooses her tickets - and what she'd do if she won a really big prize. "I try to buy new tickets or old tickets that still have large prizes left," she explained. "If I win big, I would quit working, travel, pay of my bills and my family's. After traveling I would then volunteer my time helping children and elederly a few times a week!"
- Wednesday, March 16: Despite great fan support for the underdog, (#4) $4,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular prevailed over #13 Ruby Red Crossword. Donna Diliello Hobart is the winner.
- Thursday, March 17: (#5) 50X The Cash devoured (#12) BBQ Bucks to move on. Rebecca Allen is the winner.

And the other match-ups in the Outer Banks Bracket:
- Friday, March 18: (#2) $200 Million Blowout overcame the fight of (#15) Lucky Dog and cruised to victory. Anelique Wood is the winner.
- Monday, March 21: (#7) Plantinum 7's shined brighter in it's match-up against (#10) Diamonds & Dollars, winning handily. Kimberly Williams Gilson is the winner.
- Tuesday, March 22: (#6) Jumbo Bucks was just too much for (#11) Golden Ticket. Chester Williams is the winner. "I usually look out for the new games," Williams said after he found out he was a winner. "I have won $500 a few times and if I win big, I would take a long vacation!"
- Wednesday, March 23: (#3) Millionaire Bucks fended off the scrappy (#14) Junior Big Ol' Bucks for the final spot in the Elite 8. Kelly Webber is the winner. "This is a big surprise," Webber said upon getting notified she won. "I come home from work and see I won one of the drawings!"

As you can see, we've got four match-ups set to start Monday to last through Thursday - that means four more chances to vote for which ticket you'd like to see be worth 10X the Lucke-Rewards points - and four more chances to win $50 in free scratch-off tickets.
We'll announce the Final Four on Friday, just in time for the Final Four basketball games this weekend. We'll have one match-up on Saturday and one on Sunday to decide which two tickets will face off in the final round on Monday.

Great but that's really not an answer as to why there letters on the ticket. And what about my question about the points ???
My questions where Never answered ????
My area never gets any winners, second chance, first chance, ninth chance, it doesn't matter...I'm if the opinion they funnel the bigger winners to larger areas to entice larger populations to play...as much money as I've shelled out to these things, I should hae won more than the price of a ticket...and it's odd I don't personally know anyone that has won anything more than a couple hundred, if even that, nor have I ever seen any signs showing that any big prizes have been won at local stores....I believe I'm done with lottery
I'm sick and tired of my scratch-offs spelling out a win or loss. Why are there letters on my tickets ? I know whether I've won or loss before I finish scratching the dang ticket. I spend thirty bucks I at least want the enjoyment of scratching the whole ticket. If you decide to make a change I'd like a t-shirt and $$ lol Happy Scratching !!
SN: I've accumulated thousands of luck zone points how many would it take for me to be number 1 ?
