$5,000 winners in Monday's 'Lucky for Life' drawing

For a third-straight Lucky for Life drawing, multiple tickets in our state won big. Two tickets Monday night won $5,000 apiece.

The lucky tickets beat odds of 1 in 143,356 to match four white balls and the gold Lucky Ball. The winning numbers were 6-11-22-25-46 for the white balls and 9 for the Lucky Ball.

The lucky tickets were sold at:

- Colony Mini Mart on North Madison Boulevard in Roxboro in Person County
- Lake Wheeler Quality Food Mart on Lake Wheeler Road in Raleigh

Lucky for Life Winners

In last week's Monday and Thursday drawings, five tickets won $5,000 and one ticket won the game's second prize of $25,000 a year for life.

A Lucky for Life promotion running through May 14 gives you an extra chance to win for free. Just make a $4 purchase on a single Lucky for Life ticket, and a free Quick Pick will be automatically generated at no extra cost. Just remember to ask for your free ticket to make sure you get your extra chance to win.

The odds of winning in a Lucke-Rewards drawing depend on the total number of entries made. As of Sunday night, there were 797,693 entries into this month's drawing for 10 winners of $10,000 each. And there were 433,108 entries made into this week's drawing for a winner of $10,000. Good luck!

I had a lucky feeling this week,I thought the maybe $10,000. drawing. But it didn't happen. Maybe next week!!! But I did have a couple double digit wins on the new $250,000. scratcher today!! All is good! Good luck everyone!!!

The Lucke-Rewards drawings will only be 10th Anniversary-themed for this month. But the 10th Anniversary TICKETS will be worth 10X the points as long as they're on sale :)

i use to participate in the Lucky Zone game.. but once the odds or number of players that were participating if felt that it was useless to participate anymore. Played from week one until the numbers were posted, never won anything.. However, I love the LFL game and i wish NCEL would keep this game going.

I've also scanned over a thousands tickets and have never won anything. I also don't see many winners near the Eden, Stoneville,Madison area of NC. However I live in VA. I play NC and VA lottery about 4x's a week because I'm always in NC playing bingo and sweepstakes. I also don't like how the letters are on the NC tickets because when I see a V, W, Y a T I always think I have won something like $5, $10 or $20, however it ends up being nothin. I'm about to scan another boat load of 2nd chance tickets hopefully I will win in Fieldale, VA. Good luck and blessings to everyone.

I am surprised that your 10th anniversary tickets were not loaded with more winners. I have bought more of these than I normally do with any ticket, and far fewer wins. I have never won a big prize, but usually at least my ticket price back fairly often.

I feel your frustration TB7 - I too scan many, many tickets and win NOTHING! It just doesn't seem fair, does it? I don't see many winners in the Catawba/Burke area either - maybe we need to move somewhere else in the state! I've scanned hundreds of the $30 tickets and still not a winner. I'm starting to wonder if there really are 2nd chance winners!! Hmmmmmm... hang in there- we might come out a winner sometime soon.NC Lottery

I feel so frustrated with this site as well as all of the games. Well, not so much of my frustration is with the games but geared more towards this Lucke Zone! I've played faithfully for a long time and have spent soooooo much money and time scanning tickets, and DURHAM is hardly ever selectes. I've seen a win on here maybe once every 5-6 months. I use to be so excited about sitting down scanning my tickets so that I can accumulate points. However, now I'm so fed up with the fact that the same cities win all the time, that I immediately throw my tickets in the trash because I know I'll never win!

Faith, one day I can WIN second chance...I have put mannny entries on all games and nothing yet.......also played 118 $30 ticket and input entries on first second chance ..nothing? hoping on the next one its possible to be a winner with more than 115 tickets entry again.!!! Well, I have done OK. I have won at least $20 in 2016. Mainly winning in the PB game. It is a game of pure LUCK. I don't mind dropping $5 - $10 on a game. Afterall, it is just a game! Have fun with it....

I go to the Eagles Express in Knightdale and that store has winner banners EVERYWHERE!!! Someone won $10,000 off the $1 5X cash ticket and many others!! That store definitely gets a lot of lottery traffic!! Love it!! Im next!!

Why does the quick tickets very often come out with the same red ball or lucky number that came out ontogeny last drawing? That doesn't seem randomly possible hummmm?

Was looking over the Lucky Money game in Florida lottery. Now that would be a game to play! But Fla does have a bigger Population than NC, so it wouldn't be easy for NC lottery to pay out that much of a Jackpot! Would be nice to have such a game here like that to play!

well since Cash 5 is changing, I have been playing LFL game along with Cash 5. Probably won't play Cash 5 much after the deadline. But will stick to LFL game. I finally won 3 bucks on the free QP ticket and won 3 bucks on the regular purchase ticket also. Spent 4 dollars on LFL and won 6 dollars. It's the first time i have won since LFL was started up in Feb. I Spent 5 dollars on Cash 5 and won a dollar. So you can see the difference in winnings. I have played Cash 5 everyday, not winning any at all for about four draws, then some days not every day, i will win the 2 numbers correct for a dollar win, very seldom do i even hit 3 numbers correct. Four numbers is like never ever hitting it. So if Cash 5 don't raise up the winning for 2 numbers, 3 numbers or 4 numbers and raising up the starting Jackpot of 50,000, there is really no use in playing it for me anymore! My luck here in Richmond County, just not hitting me! Hoping the LFL game will be my big ticket for my first big win! Good Luck everyone!
