Déjà vu: Two more $5,000 'Lucky for Life' tickets

Two tickets won $5,000 in last night's Lucky for Life drawing. They were sold at the 7-Eleven on Marion Street in Shelby in Cleveland County and at Russell's Quik Shop on Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington.

The tickets beat odds of 1 in 143,356 to match four white balls and the gold Lucky Ball.

The winning numbers were 2-10-16-34-35 for the white balls and 13 for the Lucky Ball.

Lucky for Life Winners

If you feel like you've read this blog before, it's probably because we posted a similar one after Monday's drawing when two tickets also won $5,000.

We're on a streak when it comes to Lucky for Life prizes. Last week, five tickets won $5,000 and one ticket won the game's second prize of $25,000 a year for life.

A Lucky for Life promotion running through May 14 gives you an extra chance to win for free. Just make a $4 purchase on a single Lucky for Life ticket, and a free Quick Pick will be automatically generated at no extra cost. Just remember to ask for your free ticket to make sure you get your extra chance to win.

The # of instant tickets printed for a particular game varies from 2 million to 16 million tickets. You can calculate the number of tickets for any game by multiplying the odds of winning a prize at any level by the number of prizes at that level. For example, if a game starts with four top prizes and 1 in 1 million odds of winning, there are 4 million tickets for that game. As for your question on Pick 3 and Pick 4, you'd have to submit a request for information. You can do that by e-mailing playerinfo@lotterync.net

As a fan of Drag Racing for 50 years, i just wanted to point out in your ad for the Four Wides in Concord, the writer mis printed the info. The top fuel and F/c class machines do "not" have 40,000 HP each. About 10,000 each motor. So combined, in those races that have all four going at the tree, it makes 40k horses. It is an awesome feeling to be standing up on the metal stands when all four have a light to light run. The energy will vibrate right through your body. Thanks, NC Lottery, for the NHRA event info. We love it and NC for the fun. Being able to play the lottery is just icing on the cake. We drove 150 miles, every other week, for six years, to play the VA lottery. Now we put that gas $$ into scratch cards here. Never won big, but did get drawn in three second chance drawings prize packs. The dream is still alive, that is why we play Cash five.NC Lottery

I would love to take advantage of the entry multiplier on the 30.00 ultimate ticket however at my usual stopping place the owner takes the 30.00 tickets home with her at night! According to the employees she does not trust them with selling them at night. I know I can go elsewhere but why should I? Any comment Lucky Zone?NC Lottery

Ya'll make me sick, lol I've played this game religiously since it came here and the most I've won is $ 9.00 . However, that's more than I've ever won on any other games I've tried though!
