Ticket sold in Jacksonville wins $25,000 a year for life

Another Lucky for Life drawing, another set of big-winning tickets. And one of them won the game's second prize of $25,000 a year for life.

That ticket was sold at the Walmart on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville. It's the fourth time since the game came to North Carolina in February that a ticket in our state was just one Lucky Ball away from winning the top prize of $1,000 a day for life.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 2-6-13-26-32 for the white balls and 18 for the gold Lucky Ball.

Lucky for Life Winners

Three more tickets matched four white balls and the Lucky Ball to win $5,000 apiece. They were sold at:

- Harris Teeter on O'Kelly Chapel Road in Cary
- Sam's BP on Liberty Road in Greensboro
- Double R Convenience on Sugar Hill Road in Marion

So the streak of Lucky for Life drawings with big winners continues. Four tickets won $5,000 prizes last week and five tickets won big the week before - including one worth $25,000 a year for life.

When we can pull the information together, we'll post a map showing all the big-winning Lucky for Life tickets we've had so far :-)

A Lucky for Life promotion running through May 14 gives you an extra chance to win for free. Just make a $4 purchase on a single Lucky for Life ticket, and a free Quick Pick will be automatically generated at no extra cost. Just remember to ask for your free ticket to make sure you get your extra chance to win.

Well over 600,000 members. And we don't have the research handy on how many big-winning tickets that particular store has had. More than 6,800 stores across the state sell lottery tickets :)

Not at all! We've had loads of winners and we're just getting started! Four times so far we've been just one Lucky Ball away from having our first $1,000 a day for life winner :-)

I have been playing the lottery for 10 years.Have won a $1.00 a couple times on Cash 5,nothing on Mega Million or Powerball.I purchased a 20 x the cash the other day and won $10.00.In ten years and a trash can full of tickets I have not even won $20.00 in 10 years so if you are new at this do not expect much as the winners are ALWAYS in the same areas.I live about 20 minutes from Raleigh and never win but I do not live in Wake County.Please do not tell me it is all luck because if that were the case the scratch tickets would not have winners in the same areas as the cash 5,mega million and powerball.Winners in same areas over and over.We the people are not stupid and we see it.

On the LFL, 4 winners of 25k a year and 31 winners of 5k, all in less then 3 months. I'm not sure, but I think we lead ALL the other 19 states in those wins, and most of the other states have been in LFL for over a year! Go NC and go NCEL. I think you guys do an great job!!!!!
