'Ultimate Millions' crowned Scratch Madness champion

After 15 match-ups and 10,000 comments, voters decided to make #1 seed Ultimate Millions the winner of the Scratch Madness tournament.

Starting Wednesday, the tickets will be worth 10X the Lucke-Rewards points. Since an Ultimate Millions ticket is usually worth between 30 and 300 points that means from April 6 through April 30 the tickets will be worth at least 300 points - and as many as 3,000 points!

More good news: Three more participants won $50 in scratch-offs for voting in the Final Four match-ups this weekend and yesterday's title contest.

• Lynsey Reittinger won in Saturday's match-up as #1 Ultimate Millions knocked off the #5 seed 50X the Cash.

• Ann Chris Howard won in Sunday's match-up to propel #3 Millionaire Bucks over the #2 seed $200 Million Blowout.

• Brandi Beasley proudly cast her vote for the champion, Ultimate Millions, as it scratched Millionaire Bucks out of the tournament to take the title.

Why are players only allowed to enter 75 tickets per day? Will there be anytime out of the year when players can enter unlimited tickets?NC Lottery
It's possible that the 75 ticket per day limit could be adjusted at some point, but there are not any plans for that right now.

@ PEBBLES - No lottery ticket that wins a prize wins less than the ticket price. Be sure to look carefully at your ticket to see if there is a multiplier. No, you do not need to keep a ticket once you've entered it for Lucke-Rewards points and for entry into a game-specific second chance drawing. It is not harder or easier to win the lottery depending on where you live. We have heard from players in the mountains, on the coast, in big cities and small towns that the winners are always someplace else. The reality is it just takes luck to win. Since there's never a guarantee of winning, its important to play the lottery only as long as you're having fun.

It's a matter of luck. With the 10X the points in effect for Ultimate Millions this month, the tickets are worth between 300 and 3,000 points apiece.

i totally agree with anne. why have 5,10,20,30 dollar tickets with 1.00 n 2.00 prizes?? total ripoff especially since you not winning jack back anyways. also when we enter second chance drawings are we supposed to keep the tickets like we do the draw tickets to claim prizes or do we just enter them and trash them??? i would hate to win and then be outta luck bc i don't have ticket and someone else wins. lord knows these small towns like hickory and conover needs winners. all the winners keep winning bc they keep winning the money to play and enter more tickets while we are here just commenting and entering hoping to win. smh no fun losing but definitely want to experience a win in my life.

The only way you can win at the Lottery is not play. Save your money and you will be ahead of the game. I see millions of tickets sold and not one dime on them. When they do win they get money back are a couple bucks. Nothing ever big out of Millions.Not in my area anyway and people are getting very tired. A lot have quite. An now they want to make the Cash Five harder to win.What a Joke the Lottery is. It has done nothing for the people here and very little for the schools if any.Save your Money

curious about something, not that I would have to ever worry about it but once winners make larger claims at the headquarters, getting their pic. made etc. does that fulfill the obligations per the publicity part of winning ? For instance, what if the local newspapers started hounding winners, the winners do not have to oblige them also do they ?NC Lottery
No lottery winner has any obligation to talk to the media about their win. The only pieces of information that are required by law to be made public are a winner's name, hometown, game played, amount won, and store where the winning ticket was purchased. :)

Every time you buy a ticket, it's a new game. The odds of winning are for the entire game. Sometimes it only takes one ticket to win, so we talk with folks every day about playing for fun knowing it takes luck to win. Please only play as long as you're having fun!

We do our best to respond to questions as they come in here on the blog, but if you ever have a question about ticket entry you can call technical customer service at 855-767-1863. It is not harder to win a lottery prize in Roxboro than it is anywhere else. There are 9,000 people in Roxboro and 1 million people in Wake County - if you hear someone has won a prize in a place with a larger population, remember not everyone there just won the lottery! :)

I want to know why I can't see the winner of ultimate million card and why the next drawing is taking so long. I can't even see all my previous entries.NC Lottery
When you scroll down to the bottom of the DRAWINGS page, look to the right and you'll see a pull-down menu that will let you show ALL the current and previous drawings. The next Ultimate Millions second-chance drawing will still be a while from now. It takes time to build up $1 million in prize money! As soon as we have a date we'll share it with everyone :)

All lottery revenue comes from ticket sales. The point we were trying to make is that the prize money for Lucke-Rewards drawings does not TAKE AWAY from prize money you can scratch-off or win in a game-specific second chance drawing. Does that make sense? We could have been more clear explaining it in the first place, so sorry about that.

Machines messed up in hubert. Sandrige road. It prints wrong numbers. Also it will print 10 dollars on numbers and charge 30. I witnessed it happen to g u one day he was very upset. Him and clerk almost faught. And I have had my numbers played more times then it should also charging me more then it is suppose to. I am a regular player. But I won't play at that store any more. Momma was right! I got ten of the new $10 scratchers today & won $150. After entering ALL the tics into LZ I went back and got 4 of the Ultimate tics for 120. Won 50, 60 & 200! I'll be playing on house money for a while buying them LFL tics $4 at a time :-).

So far I have 187 tickets for the third round. And like 20 more to still put on. And around 50 or more that I won at the store and just cashed. I have not won more then $200 so far on these ticket. And this is in under 3 months. Its got to be my day real soon.

The verification number you get back is like a receipt, a record of the transaction that you used points to enter. If you use points to make 10 entries, you'll get 10 entries :)

Where does the lottery market budget come from? Do that money just come from the sky? What I am saying is the highest price game out there won and no people don't really want to lose, but you and I both know that this is how the 10 million is going to be paid out, so there are losing tickets out there and a lot of them!NC Lottery
All of the lottery's revenue comes from ticket sales. But the information we were sharing is that the money spent on marketing events does not reduce the amount you can win playing the game. Whether it's a $.50 Pick 3 play or a $30 Ultimate Millions ticket, all lottery games prize money comes from ticket sales. It's the same in North Carolina as it is anywhere else :) Good luck!

I bought several of the Ultimate Tickets and found some in the store trash cans. Is this promotion help building up the Ultimate payout which a date have not been set. You buy the big buck ticket, what do you have to do to win some of these promotions. I see some of the same winners all the timeNC Lottery
The prize money for second-chance drawings like the Ultimate Millions second-chance drawings comes from ticket sales, just like the prizes you can win instantly. As with all games of chance, whether it's scratching, matching in a drawing or winning in a second-chance drawing, it just takes luck to win. Lots of folks enter for a chance to win! :)

I do believe a lot of people saved their ULTIMATE tickets as I have except the ones I won on, got my point and went to get more on my winnings, should have just waited but don't like money just sitting there. On a scratch off and forget about it, then I lose the money. Prefer to lose the points.

It would be nice if the NCEL would release a game that had NO breakeven prizes. It is a waste of time to think you won something and just get your money back. No one plays to get their money handed right back to them. Surely this cannot be a farfetched concept.

curious if the machines at the stores get checked much for accuracy ? The last couple times I've bought tickets I pre-filled in my numbers on the slips and the machines will pick a diff. number than what I had on the slip...usually just one number on a play here and there. Ok if it makes me win, if I lose because of it then I won't be a happy camper, lolNC Lottery

I should have held on to my 2 Ultimate yesterday I won $150.00 on and spent it on the new Tickets, Boy was I surprise when those $10 Tickets gave me 100Points on each one.
