‘All or Nothing' draw game to end

The All or Nothing draw game, which provides a top prize of $250,000 to someone who matches either all or none of the winning numbers, will end on Thursday, June 30th.

The lottery’s decision to remove the game resulted from its performance. The lottery’s portfolio of draw games will then consist of the multi-state jackpot games Powerball and Mega Millions, the North Carolina games – Carolina Pick 3, Carolina Pick 4, and Carolina Cash 5, and the new multi-state game Lucky For Life, which provides a top prize of $1,000 a day, every day, for all of a winner’s life.

We understand that some folks enjoy playing All or Nothing. And we’ve glad we’ve had six top prize winners of $250,000. We continuously evaluate our games and products to make sure that North Carolina lottery players have games that they enjoy playing and to offer the best games available.

The ending of the game means that a step-down will begin Friday, June 17, for those who choose to buy multi-draw tickets. Only 27 advance plays will be available after the day drawing on June 17. The number remaining will decline by one drawing after each drawing that follows.

Players who win prizes in the last drawing on the evening of Thursday, June 30th will have 180 days to claim them. We’d love to see some more top prize winners between now and then.

The worst odds to spend your two dollars on.2.8 mill to win 250k. Thank you for deleting the worst of the lot.The new cash 5 odds will see more jackpots above that, even at the new 749k to one..Good luck to all

If each game ticket only cost $1.00 instead of $2.00 I guarantee the customers would have bought more and then the lottery would have made more. Something so simple could have saved a good game and made it better for both sides!

...you know, if NCEL really wanted to do something positive about what turned out to be what has the appearance of a "ripoff" game, they should consider reducing the number of numbers for the final 30 days. Just as the numbers were increased for Cash5 thus reducing the odds of winning, why not reduce them for AON and increase the odds of someone winning? That move I'm sure will cause an interest (more players) for the 30 day period and perhaps erase a bad taste many have for this game and NCEL. Hmmmmm??? A thought?

I didn't like the game because it was a rip-off. The odds of winning seem to a lot harder than the power-ball or mega million.NC Lottery
The odds of winning a prize of some kind were actually pretty good for All or Nothing. The game just wasn't popular enough to have more winners to talk about.

I played AON when it started and had a headache and stopped playing. I did play every now and then and stopped completely!! Please bring back double draw or have an evening draw for cash 5.

Played both draws from day one. Won $50 several times. Glad to see it go . Now can Save $28 a week. When cash 5 changes I'll save another $35 dollars a week! I'll save $63 a week now!

It was an OK game I played it sometines. Sorry to see it go. I also see were the NC lottery is messing up the cash 5. Make it harder on the odds. You should have a game like west Virginia lottery had a cash 25. Where the odds r 1 in 77,000 to win 25 thousand. I would pay that now I will not pay cash 5 anymore

I played it several times, no luck! So i stopped playing AON! I don't play PB,MM or any Pick 3 or 4 games. Cash 5 and the LFL game is all i play now. Still not winning on either one. But must keep playing to have a chance to win. If y'all going to choose another game for NC, pick a good one! Good Luck everyone!

The NCEL should stop hoarding all of the "rights to games of chance" and use some of the "tens of billions of dollars lost by lottery players", to build a Casino or two. Provide North Carolinians with a couple of places to be social. By the way, we're all in this together, so, WE THE PEOPLE should have a say in "the goings on." NC Lottery

I played and played and the most I won was 50 when it first came out other than that it's sorry glad to see it go if anything we need a day draw on cash 5 and a night draw on the cash 5 like the other states

Can't say I'm sad to see this one go. It is a really tough game to win but I know the ones that have one have really liked it. Just like the Powerball things are getting a lot tougher to win. I would rather see more winners with less payout I think that would bring in more players.

I think only 4 people actually won the pot. Most I won playing was about $24. I was beginning to wonder if it was going to become a memory.NC Lottery

This game should NOT be cancelled. If anything, back it down to ONE draw a day instead of TWO and see how that goes. Secondly, people HATE the RNG drawings no matter how honest and legit it is. We want to watch the balls bounce. Since we're the ones paying our money, if we want the balls then we should get the balls.

Don't replace it with another draw game, we have more then enough draw games already. And while you're at it, get rid of some unpopular things that people don't play any way. Sum it up, EZ match and One Away. The Players and the retailers say they are very very unpopular. People like it when things are kept simple.

You've had over 1200 drawings since it's inception and ONLY 6 top prize winners. Seems like the lottery got the "All" and the players got the "Nothing". Good riddance.

This game could of had a chance but people did not trust the computer instead of Using the balls to choque the winner. The less people played, the computer could pick the pattern and people did trust the computer picks instead of the balls showing live on TV. Still, Congratulations to the winners, I have won $500 on the game before so its ok. Step your game up NC, VA has so many games!!!

That's too bad but the game was not as winnable as thought I think- if an actual drawing had been done like with the regular draw games it would have been more interesting to play but to just see the numbers turn without being in the draw bin was not any fun:(!

So thankful yall are getting rid of that horrific "All or Nothing" game for good in June. First of all I think I speak for other players also for saying it's not really fair when games are drawn by computers which can be easily manipulated and plus we can't actually see the numbers being drawn like Pick 3 , Pick 4 etc. Much appreciated it's leaving!!NC Lottery
