7 chances to win $100 in 'Ruby Red Hot Summer' Giveaway

Ruby Red 7's scratch-offs are back on First Tuesday - now with top prizes up to $4 million. To celebrate, we're having a Ruby Red Hot Summer Giveaway with seven chances to win $100.

It's easy to participate. Just "like" our Facebook page and/or follow us on Twitter. Then, every Tuesday this month at noon, we'll post a fun question about summer. And all you have to do is respond by 7 p.m. that night and you'll be entered for a chance to win $100! Winners will also get 700 bonus Lucke-Rewards points :-)

Besides the Tuesday posts on Facebook and Twitter over the next four weeks, we'll also be throwing in three more on Twitter only. So if you haven't already joined us there to get news about where winning tickets were sold and more, now's a great time to do it.

Big Winners

Here are some answers to questions we think folks might have:

Q: How many times can I enter?
A: On Tuesdays, you can enter once on Facebook and once on Twitter for a maximum of two entries. For the Twitter-only posts, you can enter just once through that site.

Q: How can I be sure I make an eligible entry?
A: Just respond to the question before 7 p.m. that day. And, on Twitter, you'll need to include the #RubyRedHotSummer hashtag. Promotion Rules.

Q: What if I don't have a Facebook or Twitter account?
A: The only way to enter for a chance to win in this promotion is through Facebook or Twitter. The sites are free to join, so even if you don't plan to continue using them, you are more than welcome to sign up just to participate in this promotion.

Q: How will the winners be chosen?
A: For each opportunity you have to win, there will be a random drawing to decide the lucky winner. The chances of winning depend on how many entries are made.

Q: How do I find out if I'm a winner?
A: We'll announce winners on Fridays through Facebook and Twitter. Winners will be invited to contact us by e-mail to provide proof of age and contact info. That way we can send the $100 gift cards and credit their Lucke-Zone account with 700 Lucke-Rewards points.

It is interesting to see the negative comments about not winning, I don't know how many times it can be said, it is a game of chance, can't afford to lose, don't play. It's suppose to be for fun, shouldn't plan your future based on winning the lottery. Lighten up people.

Hi! I'm from taylorsville NC and I believe we may have had 2 people win kind of big, out of all the years the NCEL tickets have been sold.. I myself at most have won $125 and that was 2 yes ago on a crossword..it seems to me that the tickets aren't winning no where near as good as they used too ..I remember 3 or 4 years ago I could buy 2 or 3 tickets that cost $3 or More and at least win my money back and break even.. But now I can buy 4 or 5 $5 tickets and not win a penny back ,I'm not trying to be rude at all I just want to know why everyone is losing more than winning now more then ever... At least in this county we are... NC Lottery

the new 20 dollar Ruby Red tickets are a rip off, thats why they doing a promotion on them. the odd of winning is worse than all the other 20 dollar tickets.NC Lottery
It sounds like you didn't have good luck on your most recent tickets. If you look at all five $20 games we have available now, the odds of winning on Ruby Red 7's are the same as Millionaire Bucks and 100X The Cash - and actually a hair better than on $200 Million Blowout and $4,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular. So whatever your next ticket is, we hope you have good luck!

winning and losing is not the question ,but look at the counties thats winning all the money like raliegh,Durham,and Greensboro. the twenty dollar ticket promotion is a cover up for all the losing tickets in your county.NC Lottery
Every part of the state wins its fair share of prizes. It's not easier to win the lottery depending on where you live. There are just more people taking a chance to win in large places. Love playing! Hope to win some day! I HOPE to see a WINNER from THOMASVILLE soon! After viewing the winners page, it's VERY DISCOURAGING, not a single winner from THOMASVILLE for @ least 2 years!! Just remember everyone when playing these games, your odds of Losing are a LOT better than winning. Sure...play every now and then, you may get lucky. However , please don't blow a big wad on a game of chance unless you're in a financial situation where you can afford to !

It feels like I'm doing nothing but giving you an accurate account of the amount of money you are taking from people with no true positive outcome. Check your rolls more often your printed odds are a lie and insulting to the intelligence of the general public. If the odds of at least winning you money back are 1:4 and I ye 10 tickets in a row and don't win, why can't I get 6 bucks back. At least that is honest? Just saying don't post or print it if it is not true. If you going to advertise do it with integrity.

This site is always down and the percentage of winston salem winners is so low it's rediculous. I have been hoping to win something so far quite a huge disapointment. The fun is gone.NC Lottery
While we have had many, many winners in Winston-Salem and the Triad area, there is never a guarantee of winning with games of chance. So if you aren't enjoying yourself we'd encourage you to take a break until you feel like you could play and take a chance to win without it upsetting you.
