Three $5,000 Lucky for Life prizes won Thursday

Folks who had three tickets for last night's Lucky for Life drawing are waking up $5,000 winners today.

Each ticket beat odds of 1 in 143,356 to match four white balls and the gold Lucky Ball. The winning numbers were 11-27-29-36-39 and 11 for the Lucky Ball.

The tickets were sold at:

- The Trinity Food Mart on West Trinity Avenue in Durham
- The Wrightsville Country Store on Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington
- Speedway on East New Hope Road in Goldsboro

Big Winners

Compared to the jackpot games Mega Millions and Powerball, Lucky for Life is a unique multistate game. Instead of a jackpot that grows larger until won, Lucky for Life has a set top prize of $1,000 a Day for Life. The second prize is $25,000 a year for life.

Drawings are held Mondays and Thursdays. Do you plan to pick up a Lucky for Life ticket for the drawing to be held on the Fourth of July?

ALL 2nd chance drawings by the NC lotto are RIGGED !!! I have played and entered 1000's of tickets since they started and NEVER won anything !! Do you notice those drawings are NOT Televised ?? LOL NC Lottery

Security and integrity of the lotto is a FARCE !! A woman in Franklin won big on a ticket she bought while on the clock working !! Don't you wish you had the advantage of being able to CHEAT like that ?? LOL NC Lottery

The lucky zone reward points when you scan your tickets how does that work? What can you use those reward points for???? NC Lottery
Once you scan your ticket, the points are used to enter weekly and monthly drawings for chances to win cash and other great prizes!
