One number and one dollar can make a big difference. Take Saturday's Powerball drawing for instance.
Two tickets in North Carolina were just one number away from hitting the jackpot, each matching four of five white balls and the red Powerball. The prize for that on a regular $2 ticket is $50,000 :-)
But, because one of the tickets had the $1 Power Play feature added - and the Power Play multiplier was X2 - it is worth $100,000 :-o

The $50,000 ticket was purchased in Henderson County at the Triangle Stop Food Store on Haywood Road in the town of Horse Shoe, about 30 miles south of Asheville.
The $100,000 ticket was sold about 30 miles west of Charlotte, at the Kingsway on Union Road in Gastonia.
The winning numbers were 11-17-40-50-62 for the white balls and 26 for the Powerball.
Because no ticket matched all six, the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is $361 million. We'll be watching with you to see what happens next.

I hope as we are watching Wednesday's draw, we see it's me that wins. Of course I'll only keep 10%, (which is about $1.2 million a year before I turn my toes up for the last time, if I live till old age), and give the rest away, I'm sure others could use a blessing.
