As the Powerball jackpot climbed closer to half a billion dollars Wednesday night, a pair of tickets in our state won big prizes.
Each ticket matched four of five white balls and the red Powerball, also called a Match 4+1.
The winning numbers in the drawing were 10-47-50-65-68 and 24 for the Powerball.

One ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the Food Lion on Andrews Road in Fayetteville.
The other ticket had the $1 Power Play feature added and, thanks to a 2X Power Play multiplier, is worth $100,000. It was sold at the 4 Brothers on N.C. 67 in Jonesville, which is about 45 minutes west of Winston-Salem.
The Powerball jackpot is now a $478 million annuity worth $330.6 million cash. Are you going to Power Play your tickets for Saturday's drawing?
