Who are our first 6 Panthers Pride winners?

Last week we kicked off the Panthers Pride Promotion, offering folks a chance to win prizes just for showing their team spirit on social media.

The first opportunity to win started Friday at noon and ended Sunday at midnight. Hundreds of Facebook comments and tweets later, we have our first six lucky winners.

Sarah Cooney won a pair of tickets to see the Panthers pounce on the Patriots Aug. 26 and Jequette Banks won a pair of tickets to see the Panthers square off against the Steelers Sept. 1.

Our four winners of $100 in Panthers-branded gift cards are Michael Graeser, Dorothy Talbert Woodworth, Betty Simpson, and Richard Kelly.

Don't forget to check out our first-ever Carolina Panthers scratch-off ticket. We had our first top prize winner, Charlene Lewis of Wadesboro, come to headquarters to claim her $200,000 prize. Besides the two remaining top prizes, every ticket you enter here gives you the chance to win 20 years of season tickets to Panthers home games and more.

They are held using a random number generator according to specific security procedures. To ensure fairness to all players, all lottery drawings are done with an auditor present and all the lottery’s security practices are independently reviewed on a regular basis. The more entries you make into a drawing, the more chances you have to win. But having even just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win. The rules state that a player can win only one prize per drawing. But you can enter as many drawings as you like.http://bit.ly/1kVZKkg

You can bet the 20 year season ticket grand prize will go to Raleigh or Charlotte.NC Lottery
While totally possible, statistically that's actually not a great bet. True that about 20% of all North Carolinians live in Mecklenburg and Wake Counties combined. But that means 80% of folks who live in our state live in one of the other 98 counties. Regardless of where a ticket is sold it has the same chance of being the winning entry in the second-chance drawing. We'll have to see what happens - Good luck!

quit buying ultimate tickets. maybe 1 once in a while. it gets hard when you pay 60 to 90 dollars and don't even get 30 dollars back. good luck to all who buy them.

I noticed the first winner of the $200,000 Panthers ticket is wearing a NCEL Panthers t-shirt. Will these shirts be available for everyone? What do I have to do to get one?NC Lottery
We were giving them away as part of a promotion at Panthers Fan Fest last week. We may or may not have them again at a Panthers home game this season.

I love my Panthers. We live on the coast so going to a live game at such a beautiful stadium would be the best anniversary gift that I could give my workaholic husband of 21-22 years as of November .Our State was so proud to have the Panthers represent us again in the Super Bowl. Hey Willie P., when u enter 2nd chance tics sometimes a popup will popup & some games they won't. But u r always automatically entered into that drawing. After you enter your tic & hit submit, just scroll down a few inches. You will always see "Recent Entries (last 4)" If u have entered more then 4 , just click on "view entry history" It will let u know what game you have entered & also how many points u just got for each ticket. This is on my PC screen. I have no idea how it looks on a smart phone App.

I have been a TRUE PANTHERS FAN since 1993 when we got the franchise rights… and the PANTHERS TEAM was born. I have stuck with them thru all the losses and never wavered. They are our hometown team and I couldn't be prouder. My mother also loved them since day 1 and she passed away September 1st before the start of their greatest season ever… they won every game except one after she passed and I believe she was there pushing them from way up high… PANTHERS FOREVER

It depends when our draw security and audit staff have adequate time to follow all the procedures to conduct the drawings. That's why we share the date the winners will be announced :)

Hello I don't see on the second chance the Ultimate millions the second drawing! Where did it go? When looking at the active it's doesn't show the August 10 drawing! ThanksNC Lottery
If you click on the Lucke-Rewards tab and scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see the section for Second-Chance Drawings. To the right of the heading, you will see a pull-down box. Click on it and choose "ALL" or "My Entries" and you should be able to see your entries in the Ultimate Millions second-chance drawings.
