Two 'Lucky for Life' tickets win $5,000 each

Lucky for Life is the game that has prizes that last a lifetime. But there are other ways to win a big prize. And Thursday night, two tickets matched four white balls and the Lucky Ball to win $5,000 each.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 14-31-32-38-43 and 1 for the Lucky Ball.

The lucky tickets were sold in Orange County at the Short Stop on West Main Street in Carrboro and at the Fastlane Express on Spartanburg Highway in Hendersonville. The winners have 180 days to claim their winnings.

My question is in regards to the Second Chance drawing for the Ultimate Millions prizes. At first, August 10th was scheduled to be the drawing date but now it says TBD and it also says I have no entries when I entered at least 30 tickets for this drawing so if could shed some light on that I'd appreciate it. Hendersonville is in western NC. I think you have marked Henderson as the winning locale on your map of $5K winners.

Ummm, don't know who puts your maps together but Hendersonville is in the mountains not the piedmont.

Hendersonville is in western North Carolina, your map appears to be pointing to Henderson. Maybe you are just highlighting the need for education.

DUH??? Fix your map. Hendersonville used to be in the NC mountains. Great apple county and filming location of the train wreck in the "Fugitive" movie.
