Thursday night, someone who plays Cash 5 that way became the first to win a jackpot through a web-based purchase. The winner's ticket was the only one to match all five numbers, winning the $149,970 jackpot.
The winning numbers were 3-11-17-19-41. Whoever the winner is has 180 days to come to lottery headquarters to collect their prize money.

Any ticket - whether you buy it at a gas station, a grocery store, through subscription services, in the mountains, on the coast, or anywhere in between - has the exact same chances of beating the odds to win a prize. It's the same story whether you prefer to play your favorite numbers or let the computer Quick Pick for you, too.
But keep in mind that, last year, purchases made via subscription for the games available through the service were less than 1% of total sales for those games. So again, the odds are always the same. It's just most tickets sold for these games are still bought in person at stores :-)
