Platinum Payouts bring a new top-of-the line standard for scratch-off games

This month you’ll see a set of scratch-off games that is anything but ordinary. The Platinum Payout suite are printed on premium foil paper with a dazzling design. If the design doesn’t dazzle you, perhaps the prizes will. Together, the fun games have almost $140 million in prizes.

$4,000,000 Platinum Payout: This $20 ticket offers eight prizes from $1 million to $4 million. It has over $100 million in total prizes. Odds of winning a top prize are 1 in 2.24 million. Overall odds of winning including break even prizes are 1 in 2.92.

$250,000 Platinum Payout: This $5 ticket offers six top prizes of $250,000. It has over $24 million in total prizes. Odds of winning a top prize are 1 in 1.2 million. Overall odds of winning including break even prizes are 1 in 4.09.

$50,000 Platinum Payout: This $2 ticket offers six top prizes of $50,000. The game has over $9.5 million in total prizes. Odds of winning a top prize are 1 in 1.2 million. Overall odds of winning including break even prizes are 1 in 4.78.

$10,000 Platinum Payout: This $1 ticket offers eight top prizes of $10,000 and has over $6 million in total prizes. Odds of winning a top prize are 1 in 1.26 million. Overall odds of winning including break even prizes are 1 in 4.93.

Tickets should be in stores by First Tuesday, Sept. 5. Good luck scratching and matching everyone!

The important question about the new $20 ticket is why are there $2 LOSING numbers on the ticket. Why even bother to print losing numbers where the prize would have been $2? I thought it was a misprint and so did the cashier. Neither of us have ever heard of printing up losing numbers with $2 under them on a $20 ticket.NC Lottery
Because if you scratch to reveal the "PAYOUT" symbol, you win all 20 prizes on the ticket.

However, I do remember entering the Harley Davidson Fat bob giveaway ( there were 6 bikes in that one ) and don't see that promo.listed in the ticket entry right off the bat but a google search showed it was in 2009. I won a nice " other" prize in that one, all HD items such as a blanket, hat, pen set, etc.

Years ago, when the LZ players club first began, our promotions staff had complimentary points cards we passed out at events to kick off interest in joining up :)******************* ok, thanks. Looks like I didn't jump on the bandwagon that early in the game . Hey, have the names been drawn for the kickoff cash and warehouse dash yet ? Your response to question on 'why $2.win on $20 ticket' was poor .The multiple win used in your sales campaign and this so to say break even is deceptive .A 5x ,10x ,25x paying a $2 win is another scram. Why can you people make the payouts fair .As observed the Godly players,i do not think the Lord will continue to let people be cheated .

I just played 4 of the new$5 tickets zero on all. I bought 2 of the $20 tickets and nothing. Bought 10 of the $2 tickets and got the word payout. My heart started to race. With a huge win of $10. That's messed up. But I'm still praying for the big one.

Please call our Security Hotline 1-888-732-6235. The lottery will investigate what happened if you can provide some details to the security team. Everyone should get the prize they win, no matter how small.

Sounds like a rip off to me. I used to buy tickets everyday and enter these drawings only to not ever win.i still have over 60,000 points and haven't won nothing. I have better luck and win more money at the sweepstakes parlors.

In many of the lottery’s instant games, prizes lower than the ticket prize are not printed on non-winning tickets. In this one, $2 prizes are seen, but there are none in the prize structure of the game. The lottery shares the prize structure of the games on its website. The odds on the platinum Payouts are false due to Cost of printing and profits for the lottery commission; Odds of winning on all tickets Are false ,cause tickets end Without all the prizes awarded.NC Lottery
The odds of winning on any ticket are based on the number of prizes and the number of tickets printed. Other costs do not play a role into what the odds of winning are.

The $4,000,000 Platinum Payout game has more than $100 million in prizes. None are less than the ticket prize of $20. A $2 prize can be revealed as one of the 20 possible prizes on winning and non-winning tickets, but with winning tickets it is used in a combination with a multiplier such as 20X to produce at least a $40 prize. So a winning ticket with a $2 prize would mean a winner had at least doubled his or her money.
