Panthers tickets could win a VIP game experience

You've probably heard that, besides the chance to win $200,000 instantly, entering a Panthers ticket online could win a dream prize: 20 years of season tickets to Panthers home games.

But there's more. Before we get to the second-chance drawing for the 20 years of season tickets, we're having a preliminary second-chance drawing to award a VIP experience prize package and 10 single game ticket prize packages.

You're probably wondering what is included in the VIP experience. So picture this: It’s Sunday, Nov. 13 and the Kansas City Chiefs are in Charlotte to tangle with the home team. The winner and 15 of his or her luckiest friends will catch all the action watching from a private suite at Bank of America Stadium. It includes $1,500 in food and beverages, two pregame sideline passes, the opportunity to hand the game ball to officials prior to the game, autographed Panthers gear, and more.

The single game ticket winners will each get a pair of lower-level stadium seats to a 2016 regular season home game and free food and beverage hospitality.

Again, there will be two second-chance drawings. One will award the VIP experience and 10 single game ticket prize packages to be enjoyed this season. The deadline to enter that drawing is Sept. 18 and is scheduled to be held Sept. 21.

Everyone who enters the first drawing, and everyone who enters after its deadline, will have a chance to win in the grand prize second-chance drawing which decides who will get Carolina Panthers season tickets for 20 years.

Second chance drawings are held during business hours by the lottery's audit and security staff. Winners are typically notified by email within 48 hours. So for a drawing held on a Wednesday, winners can expect a message by 5 p.m. Friday. If a winner does not respond to email notification, we will follow up with a telephone call and, if necessary, send certified mail. We announce a winner’s name only after he or she has responded to notification and completes the claim process. We understand why folks are eager to find out who won but, until a prize is claimed, we don’t officially have a winner.

hey Mackie you said someone's trash is your gain were you lucky enough to find winning ticket in trash---if I owned a store I would go through it everyday lots and lots of luck to all oh I said 50 to 100 dollars a day I stand corrected it is a week

An entry you make in Catawba County has just as good a chance to win as an entry anyone makes anyplace else in North Carolina. It's all a matter of luck. Most folks who live in our state live east of Charlotte. But it isn't easier or harder to win there, where you live, or in the mountains. Time to leave our home on the beach and go inland and see that beautiful stadium. My husband just surprised me with an original #1 jersey so I can wear it for tonight's game. I would love nothing more than to celebrate our 22nd anniversary at a home game. My husband has had the panther scratch off tickets for me every night since they came out. Hope to be considered for the tickets but either way we pull hard for the Panthers on the coast.

Yes, the drawing will be done using our certified random number generator, according to the same security procedures as other second-chance/Lucke-Rewards/promotional drawings with an auditor present :)
