Hi Curtis- You do not need to live in North Carolina to have an account. You just have to buy your tickets in the state.

Hi Vanessa- First thing you need to do is make sure you're part of our player's club. Once you do that if you go to your "User Dashboard" you'll see a "Collect" icon. If you click on it you'll see where you can enter any of your tickets. You'll get points for those tickets that you can enter into Lucke Rewards drawings. If the ticket qualifies for a second-chance drawing, it will automatically be entered when you enter your ticket number. Your question required some research. As of the week ending October 21st, Extreme Millions has sold approximately 42% of tickets. There are approximately 10 million remaining tickets of the 17 million tickets printed.

Lucke-Zone answer to Player about taxes may not be exactly the right answer about your question Player A $1 Million dollar prize is paid only in $50 thousand annual for 20 year because the interest it draws at the end of the 20 years would bring the $600,000. to $1 Million. Thats why the lump sum is $600,000. minus the taxes! Hope that helps!

I understand about having to pay taxes. What I don't understand if why there is some much taxes taken off the million lump sum. IF you will a million, it automatic drops to $$600.00 then there is another $200.00 almost taken from that. Why is there so much taken off the million dollar prize? NC Lottery
At one time, all $1 million prizes for instant games were awarded as annuities. Winners got $50,000 a year for 20 years. Players asked for the same choice in big instant wins that they had with Powerball. They wanted a choice of taking the annuity or a lump sum. The lump sum on a $1 million prize is $600,000. It's the winner's choice. $1 million annuity paid over 20 years or $600,000 lump sum. The tax withholding is the same, just applied against the lump sum once or the annuity payment every year. Which would you choose? Annuity or lump sum.

Your entries should be part of your history. Another way to see your entries is to visit the Winners tab under Lucke-Rewards: https://rewards.lucke-zone.com/drawings. On this page you can see all active drawings (Lucke-Rewards drawings at the top and Second Chance drawings at the bottom) and the number of entries as well as the winners for completed drawings. You can use the drop down menu at the top of the section, which defaults to Active, to change the view to My Entries so you can see only the drawings for which you have entries. There is another drop down menu for second chance drawings. If you believe you have entries that aren’t showing up in your history or on the Winners page, you should call Customer Service at 1-855-767-1863.

In looking over the list of Second Chance winners, I noticed one person who has already won two prizes this year. I wonder what she is doing that has given her this edge. Also someone else with the same unusual last name from the same town has also won. How does the computer pick the winner from these huge numbers of entries and manage to land on someone twice? We have lots of folks who have won prizes multiple times. Some combination of good luck and taking lots of chances to win is what accounts for it. Without knowing how often that winner plays it's impossible to say which element is more of a factor.

Well it's been a nice week for big wins on the draw games for NC players. Wed.,$2million on the PB & over $500k on the cash5. And Thur. $25k a year for life on the LFL. I buy 1 or 2 LFL tics for every drawing online or in store. Ironically , I have picked & hit the lucky ball for 5 straight drawings . Now if I could only get the other numbers. I usually do a partial QP. Side bar here, I have seen a lot of elderly people holding up lines trying to get multi draw MM tickets because they can't understand the process of the price change. And even the clerks don't know why. 1 ole guy wanted 10 draws, the clerk repeatedly told him ,the machine won't let me do that. I explained why to no avail. Ran into that same gentleman at another store trying to get 10 draws at that store. It just wasn't sinking in...........

Why aren't the ultimate millions tickets automatically entered for the second chance drawings like the extreme millions tickets are? I did not know you had to enter the ultimate millions second chance from a number on the back of ticket, or am I missing something with the rules? NC Lottery
Ultimate Millions tickets are automatically entered into the second-chance drawing once you enter your ticket. You should see them when you check your entry history. If you aren't, then you can call 1-855-767-1863.

@CWDavis - sorry to tell you this is not a security issue as LZ says. Retailers are allowed to play as they please without any repercussions. If you cashed in winning tickets, then the retailer is instructed to NOT return them to the customer and what they do with them is fair game. If they scan them into Lucke- Rewards before you do, then they get the points - period. The only way you can prevent this to scan or enter the tickets BEFORE you cash them in. Don't waste your time contacting security as there is nothing they can do as there is no rule against a second or third party dumpster diver scanning tickets regardless of who purchased them.

There is a store on hwy 21, and there is never a full roll and they are always out of tickets, and they are never in there on the 1st tuesday of the month when the other stores have them----i think the owner scans them and put out the non winners....please check into this. no one ever wins anything in this store---i have talked to the clerk NC Lottery
Retailers do have the choice of choosing what tickets they carry and when. However, if you call our security department at 1-888-732-6235 someone can get some more information to you, and look into the situation.

So indeed I was correct all along. I have continued to research scratch off winners for a few years. The store owners are doing what is called "pinning" the tickets. They scratch a tiny area, just enough to scan the ticket to see if it is a winner. If you would like the article, just respond and I will send you the link. Several owners or employees are doing this and other "tricks" to find the winning tickets. The odds of winning as much as they have is ultimately impossible. I foresee them linking themselves with a friend or family member and splitting the winnings so they are not under the microscope. I still play but not near as much as I used to for this reason. NC lottery commission should have caught this years ago!NC Lottery

I'm shocked & amazed at the # of entries people claim to have in these lucke rewards monthly drawings. On another blog 1 player said they had over 1440, another 1 said they had over 12,000. At 25 points an entry that's just hard to imagine spending that much $$$. You would have to be rich, a merchant or doing a lot of dumpster diving. I'm lucky if I get enough points (the honest way) to have around 100 entries in any given contest. The funny part is, the ones that do the most dumpster diving are the ones that do the most complaining when the don't win. Crime doesn't pay & what goes around comes around. KARMA !!!!

You do not need the original ticket. Once a ticket is entered into Lucke-Zone and you get your points, you can throw it away.

What would be more fair is if actual players only could register THEIR tickets only. So many store attendants scan the winning tickets they keep and get entered into these drawings. Also, players who don’t actually play these level games. Maybe the lotto folks can look into this.

Are your Walking Dead tickets going to be as bad as your friends e-tickets I'm still looking for my $50 $1 ticket you always say there's money on tickets but I can't find it but I understand it's all about greed if you can afford a $10 ticket you might make 50 buy the $2 tickets and hope for the best I feel sorry for them the lottery is a joke it's all about greed the holidays are coming and how much money can you steal from the poor people

Seems majority of winners are store owners "friends and family" so many have scratch areas with trash cans for discarded tics. Store owner in my area has won 5-6 times and spend hours entering max tix each day. Even bragged about amt of entries w/o ever buying tickets. They won Vegas trip and son in family won cash in same 2nd chance drawing. NC Lottery
Thank you for your feedback. Officials with the lottery do pay attention to the comments posted here to see what concerns players have. We want every player to take advantage of the option of submitting their tickets in for Lucke-Rewards points. It's an extra chance to win and have fun. Hey LZ, just noticed the drawing is set for 11/22, the Wed. before Thanks Giving. That's 36 winning entries that will have to be verified by security staff, and 36 emails to be sent out. That's correct Turbo. We try to notify winners within 48 hours/two business days of the drawing. In this case because of the holiday, the notifications won't come until the next week. Good luck with the In laws!
