Walking Dead scratch-off tickets are so scary they’re fun!

As we head into the Halloween season, the best way to feel alive is to just play dead. And you can do that with the new Walking Dead scratch-off ticket.

The $2 ticket features scenes from the popular AMC TV series, and offers ten top prizes of $20,000. But that’s not all, players can enter their tickets into four second-chance drawings to win a five-day, four-night trip for two to Los Angeles to see the taping of the “Talking Dead.” The prize includes airfare, a hotel stay, plus $1,000 in spending money.

Approximate overall odds of winning, including break even prizes, are one in 4.48. Approximate odds to win the top prize is one in 540,000. Odds of winning the second-chance drawing depend on how many entries we receive.

Players will see more than zombies this First Tuesday. They’ll also see the new “$50 Or $100” scratch-off ticket. The $10 ticket offers over $30 million in prizes. There are 169,200 prizes of $100 and 288,000 prizes of $50. And get this, your chance of winning one of those prizes is better than one in 9.45.

If you’re looking for more chances to win, the Queen of Hearts scratch-off ticket does just that. The $5 ticket gives you 12 chances to win on the front plus five more on the back. The game has seven top prizes of $200,000.

Approximate overall odds of winning including break even prizes, are one in 4.08. Odds of winning a top prize are one in 1.2 million.

And finally, Lady Luck is paying a visit as a new $1 scratch-off ticket. The game offers eight top prizes of $1,000. If you reveal a “Luck” symbol, you’ll win the prize shown for that symbol. If you reveal a clover symbol, you’ll win $25 instantly.

Odds of winning a top are one in 1,020,000. Approximate overall odds of winning including break even prizes, are one in 4.80.

"50 or 100" is OK, but I like the "500 Flash" $10 game that SC has, because if you have to go 13 tickets to find a WIN which is the case on this new $10 game we have you are still LOSING! That game will really make a difference. So here we go new game that you can WIN $10 to $500 an you can make a winning ticket come more often....This current game I have seen at least 5 bad runs where you had to purchase 13 to 17 losing tickets to WIN a $50. NCEL you are trying, but still are not there yet.

To the commenters for the new $50 or $100 ticket. ...I buy a lot of scratch offs. Won 2 prizes that called for a road trip. So far on this ticket I have won $450 buying only 3 tickets per purchase. In total I have bought 103 tickets all from different stores in my small town. I just scratch a $50 prize so that's $500 now. Most of the time I'm just playing my tickets back. Now as far as how the ticket prize is presented ($10, $20) it is a way to win. One of my tickets had 10 $10 prizes =$100. One had a combination of $10 and $20 that equal $100. One had 2 $50 instant wins. And 2 were $100. Many of you say you don't like it but it's only been out a couple of days. Give it a chance, switch stores if you don't win after spending $30 or $40. Sometimes I go ask the cashier if people been winning off a ticket before I buy them. This works because sometime it's just a bad roll. Hope this helps. Play to win:)

Extremely disappointed with the new $10 dollar ticket, "$50 and $100". Even with the odds, if a buyer buys a book of 30, would be extremely lucky to win $200, if that much. Whoever came up with idea for this ticket, was wrong. I will not buy anymore, and recommend to others not to buy also.

Wanted to comment on the new "$50 and $100" ten dollar scratch off. I do not like it. A buyer can only win $50 or $100 dollars on these tickets. Why are there amounts printed on tickets of $10 and $20 dollars. This is misleading to the buyers of this ticket. Most people when they purchase a ticket, they figure at least they have a chance of winning back the face value of the ticket. Yes the chance for this ticket is 5 to 10 times their original investment, but the odds of their winning are not even fair also. Back says odds to win overall are 1:9 something. To win $100 dollars back states odds 1:25:53 to win. For someone to hopefully win a top prize of $100 dollars they need to buy a whole book which is 30 tickets. That is $300 to purchase a book, and hope to win at least $100. Not a good purchase for the ticket. Personally, I will not buy any of these tickets and will encourage others I talk with not to also. Sorry, but whoever came up with the idea of this ticket was definitely wrong.

Yes, you are correct. At the start of the game, there were 173,281 $100 prizes. As of this morning, there are 172,023 $100 prizes remaining.

LZ members think about the odds before playing the $50 or $100 game (#576). Odds are set a 1 in 9.45, almost 3 times higher than any $10 ticket issued and over 2 times higher than any $5 ticket issued - that should scare the dickins out of anyone who plays the lottery. The top prize is $100 and there is no break even prize so you either win or you don't. A little over 4.4 million tickets were printed and there are a little over 468 thousand prizes. Given their published odds, your chance of winning $100 is 0.0391% and winning $50 is 0.0667%. Buyer beware!

Hi there. We withhold the minimum state and federal tax as a service to players. Say a player wins $10,000. We do not want them going home and spending all $10,000 because when tax season comes around, the government will want their fair share. So we go ahead and take that out so players do not have to worry about it. Again, we just withhold the minimum amount, so we always advise players to talk to a tax professional because we do not know which tax bracket everyone is in. Hope that helps!
