Hot News. A Glitch in the South Carolina random drawing gave a whole lot of winners around Christmas. My opinion is a programmer got in the system and put his own code right in front of security that don't know what to look for. Happy New Years to everyone. Why are we paying taxes on the winnings. Especially when this money every one is playing with have already been taxed.And then you want to take 35 to 45 percent of the winnings. That ain't right. I NC Lottery North Carolina, like most states, counts as income the money that folks win from playing lottery games, games at casinos, etc. The lottery does the minimum withholding required, 25 percent for federal withholding and 5.499 for state withholding.

You guys need to get rid of the Scrooge who's printing all the losing scratchoffs. A couple of people may be winning money but millions are not. You would think you guys would be paying out on the Holiday tickets but no, sorriest tickets yet. Ashamed to give them out for Christmas.

Congratulations to all winners. Will NC consider allowing us to play pick 3 and pick 4 online. I like many others just want to play from home sometime avoiding traffic and busy lines. Thanks in advance NC Lottery Glad you like the convenience of buying a ticket on our website. At this time, the lottery is not planning to sell Pick 3 and Pick 4 games online. It's good to hear from folks, however, who would like that option.

This website's is not any good. Can not scan. NC Lottery Hi there, Glenn. You can only scan your tickets on the mobile app. On the app, you can get to the ticket check by selecting the "Check" icon. You can scan tickets into your Lucke-Rewards account by selecting the icon, "Collect." If you're having trouble scanning or checking your ticket, make sure the correct bar code is showing and only let the correct bar code be visible to the camera. You could do this by folding the ticket. Hope that helps!

So is there a waybto find out what store sold the winning ticket and when if you follow a certain ticket? Even if its only a $1000 win??NC LotteryThere is. Just go to the "Win" section of our site and click on the "Winners" page. There you can see where the winning tickets were sold. The wins are sorted by game so make sure to look through the different tabs. The page shows wins of $5,000 or more. If you want to know about a win of less than that amount you can email playerinfo@lotterync.net . I hope this helps.
