From the mountains to the coast and North Carolina towns in between, six players won major lottery prizes this week.
The largest belongs to Neil Barnett of Oxford. He bought at $20 Ruby Red 7's ticket at the Kearney Grocery store he owns in Louisburg. After scratching it, he became the game's second winner of $4 million. One top prize of $4 million, two prizes of $1 million and four prizes of $100,000 are still in the game.
A certified nursing assistant from Roxboro won $200,000 playing Mega Fortune. Patrice Sanford bought her lucky ticket at the EZ Food Mart on Ridgeway Avenue in Durham. She said the prize money would be used to buy a first home with her fiance, continue her education pursuits, and help her family.
Sharon Walston is one of the approximately 500 people who live in South Mills, a small town in Camden County. But she won big in the Feb. 4 Cash 5 drawing. The Quick Pick ticket she boughat the Super Stop Tobacco & Mini Mart in Elizabeth City won her the $167,481 jackpot.
Another lucky Cash 5 ticket sold in Elizabeth City added up to a $138,731 jackpot for a resident there. Lyman Sawyer bought his winning ticket at the Eagle Mart on Weeksville Road.
Beverly Royall of Yadkinville is celebrating after she won $150,000 playing the Holiday Riches scratch-off game. She bought the $5 ticket at the 4 Brothers on South State Street in her hometown. Since Royall won the last top prize, the game will end.
David Wright of Asheville came forward to claim the $149,970 Cash 5 jackpot he won in the Sept. 1 drawing. He won playing through subscription services.

Starlyn Robertson of Marion won the top prize of $75,000 on a Lucky 7's Crossword ticket. And Jose Amaya became the first to win the top prize of $50,000 on a $2 ticket for the new 10X The Cash game.

- Kenneth Quesinberry of Mount Airy (Carolina Millions)

- Sudie Wells of Rose Hill ($1,000,000 Bonus Cash)
Tawana Choate of Bunnlevel won the top prize of $7,000 on a $1 ticket for the Lucky 7's game. Ten top prizes are still in the game.
Twenty-two prizes of $5,000 were awarded this week. One was shared by a group of eight players from Wilmington, three went to players from Charlotte, and two were won by players from Mooresville. The other 16 prizes belong to players from: Aydan, Carthage, Cary, Concord, Forest City, Greensboro, Hallsboro, Morganton, Newport, Reidsville, Rocky Mount, Shallotte, Staley, Stokes, Supply, and another player from Wilmington.
