For a second straight weekend in February, we've got beautiful weather to celebrate in the Tar Heel State. And from the mountains to the coast folks in North Carolina are celebrating big lottery wins too.
Keevia Williams of Fayetteville won $430,682 playing Carolina Cash 5. She bought her lucky Quick Pick ticket at the Sunoco on Ramsey Street in her hometown.
In Robeson County, Todd Davis of Shannon won the top prize of $200,000 playing the "$" instant game. Davis bought his winning ticket at the Poco Shop on West Broad Street in Saint Pauls.
A coffee run turned into $100,000 for a couple in Burke County. Patrick and Jackie Welch of Morganton were on their way to a swim meet when they stopped at Fast Phil's on Taylorsville Road in Statesville. As Patrick went in to get the coffee, Jackie asked him to pick up a scratch-off ticket too. The $20 Ruby Red 7's ticket turned out to be worth $100,000.

Two players won $50,000. Mark Jorgensen of Laurinburg won playing Extreme Millions and Jeremy Zeiler of Burlington won in the Nov. 23 Powerball drawing.

Joselin Gonzales of Zebulon won the top prize of $7,000 on a Lucky 7's ticket.
Eighteen prizes of $5,000 were awarded. Two of them went to players in Charlotte and two more went to players from Garner. The other 14 went to players from: Burnsville, China Grove, Concord, Durham, Forest City, Granite Quarry, Greensboro, Hiddenite, Kill Devil Hills, Shallotte, Smithfield, Summerfield, Wilmington, and Winston-Salem.
