The first of six drawings for the Powerball Power Cruise Second Chance Promotion was held on Feb. 22, with nine players landing a spot on the #PBPowerCruise.
This week, we had two winners claim their prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh and both shared the same level excitement.

Phillip Gregor of Raleigh was already wearing his lottery t-shirt for good luck when he found out he won an adventure of a lifetime.
“This is like a dream,” Gregor said upon claiming his prize. “I love playing Powerball, but I only Power Played because of this cruise. I just can’t believe I won!”
The Air Force Veteran and long-time lottery player will take his mom on their first cruise in January. “She’s always wanted to go on a cruise,” said Gregor. “I just can’t believe I actually won it for her.”

Jean Cole of Knightdale was in disbelief when she found out she won. “I didn’t think it was a real at first,” said Cole. “I had to re-read the email a couple of times!”
Cole, who only purchases draw games through subscription, plans on sharing her Power Cruise win with her husband. “We love playing the lottery,” said Cole. “So this cruise of only Powerball players will be a lot of fun! We are so excited!”
Two great wins, but one major take-away from these two #PBPowerCruise winners: Play Powerball? $2. Add Power Play? $1. Winning an adventure of a lifetime? Priceless.
If you Power Play, you could win a life-changing jackpot, or multiply your prize - or win a five-night adventure of a lifetime aboard the Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas® to Key West and Cozumel.
Nine more players from North Carolina will win an adventure of a lifetime next week, but you have to enter your tickets by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26 to be eligible. Remember, if you want more chances to win, you must split up your ticket purchase. For example, if you buy $15 worth of Powerball tickets, to have five chances to win, you would need to get five separate $3 tickets.
Have a great weekend, and happy Power Playing!
