Our first $1 million winner in the new X The Cash instant games says the prize money means he and his fiancé can buy a house and start their new life together.

Over the weekend, Bobby Murphy stopped at the 7-Eleven on Eastway Drive in his hometown of Charlotte and bought five 50X The Cash tickets. “It wasn’t until I scratched the very last number on the last ticket that I realized I won,” Murphy said. “I beat the odds. It’s wild.”

Murphy isn't the only one who likes the new games. Check out the reactions of Carolina Hurricanes fans when they got a chance to multiply their excitement at a recent home game.

The statistics you cite for the X The Cash games can't be calculated without the context of knowing how many total tickets were sold compared to how many tickets won prizes, which varies day to day. The advertised odds of winning on 20X The Cash are 1 in 4.32. The odds of winning on 50X The Cash are 1 in 3.23. Those odds play out over the lifetime of each game, both of which started only a few weeks ago and will be available for a long time. How did you calculate that last statistic about most games? For an instant game to have 30% or more tickets be winning tickets, the odds of winning have to be 1 in 3.33 or better.

Under the WINNER NOTIFICATION section, where the winner will be notified by NCEL or its fulfillment vendor; who is its fulfillment vendor? I don't want to miss any notifications, whenever my ship comes in!! NC Lottery
Depending on what the prize is, the lottery contracts with different vendors. But don't worry about notification. If a winner does not respond to email notification, we will call or even send certified mail if necessary.
