Mr. First Tuesday back with new 7's scratch-offs

Hey guys! Over the past few months I've travelled far and wide, climbed sky high and dove deep to spread the word about new scratch-offs.

This month I'm using social media to let everyone know about the new 7's games. So join me on Facebook or Twitter today for some fun, if you please.

I always wake up feeling good on First Tuesday. But something else just put a smile on my face: Not only is it my favorite day of the month, but in a happy coincidence, the 7's games are making their debut on the 7th of March. *Cue intriguing music*

So the new games are all about the number 7 and how you can win prizes by scratching off a variety of 7 symbols.

The $5 game "7" starts with five top prizes of $200,000. There are six top prizes of $30,000 in the $2 Triple 7's game. And for $1 per play, a Lucky 7's ticket could win one of 15 prizes of $7,000.

For the extended play fans across the land, the Lucky 7’s Crossword game debuted last month, and still has five top prizes that would spell $75,000 for the winners.

My heavens, all I see is 7's. I hope you see the right mix of 7's on your ticket to win a prize. Happy scratching, everyone!

The sole purpose it's call a Second Chance Drawing is to give players with losing tickets a Second Chance. ******************* I third/heard that and their family members too ! Again, NCEL needs to adopt the Indiana policy as 87superglide stated is in place there: "Indiana does not allow owners or employees to play at their stores." But of course they would still find a way to beat the system, no matter what.

Yet ANOTHER BIG WIN on a scratchoff ticket by a storeowner/merchant. $1 million on a $30 extreme millions ticket!

I also am not impressed with the odds on the new 7's tickets...three or four of the $2's back to back,all losers,then 16 of the $5's back to back,and only won a $5 and a $15-that's 14 out of 16 were losers! Figured there should have been a nice $20,$50 or more,in all those! And the $3 Lucky7's Crossword is a joke,have bought MANY and only get an occasional $3 or a very rare $5! Been playing for years, and have to agree with others that the payouts are way,way,way,worse and worse! Use to be able to hit $1,000 on the $20's somewhat often,$100's on the $10's left and right,now can only hit or miss a rare $500 on the $30, really?

Jason, u r very welcome, I was pulling 4 u. I too won a drawing as an alternate (I think). I say that because I got my email on a Tuesday which I thought was odd. I did not enter any recent drawings for football, basketball or racing ,trying to save my points for cash. My motto is show me the money! Good luck ,hope to see you in the winner's circle.

I'm not impressed with the odds on the new 7s tickets. It seems that you have to buy a stack of losers to each winner. The winnings are sparse. Nothing to get excited about.

Problem solved ********** Sorry to disagree Chuck , but that will not solve the problem. There r prolly more non members then members of the LZ. Most people don't even participate in the 2nd chance drawings. People scratch in the store & in their cars & turn in the tics for more tics or cash everyday. Thusly giving the merchants an advantage. That doesn't even address the issue of "play before pay".

We understand why so many are eager to use this feature! But we don’t have a date yet for when it will be available. There are other major changes that have to be completed before the final phases of development on the app. We promise to share the date as soon as we get one.

What is meant when it was said when the merchants take 75 a day and send in the numbers. I did not understand what this meant. What numbers are the merchants sending in and what 75 are the merchants taking?NC Lottery
Regardless of retail association, every member of the Lucke-Zone can submit a maximum of 75 tickets per day.

To turbo.not this year ,boy did I try I had 2611 entries.i entered drawings at least 7 times a day!maybe next year!i won last year as a alternate winner because someone did not claim there prize,and I thank you!

Many merchants refused to return winning ticket to winners. Some even tear them up and say its against Lottery rules to do so.NC Lottery
If a player wants to submit a winning ticket for Rewards points or second-chance entry, that should be done before claiming a prize onthe ticket. After paying out a prize on a winning ticket, retailers are required to deface and keep the ticket. There are specific requirements for defacing the ticket. A hole must be punched or a mark must be made through the boxed security code digits on the front of the instant ticket and/or through a column of the entire bar code area on the back of the instant ticket from top to bottom.

Am I supposed to mail my tickets in for the 2nd chance drawing?NC Lottery
You can only enter a second-chance drawing by submitting your tickets here in the players' club on the LUCKE-REWARDS page. Once you have entered a ticket online, you do not need to keep the physical ticket or mail it anywhere.

We will all have a chance. Whether little or big big big... Let's be happy and praise the Lord with our tithing . I know I will when it happens. Thank you NC. Won a 50k 5 years ago. Taxes were crazy . Wish we could do something about that. Still, grateful for the win and happy for all us north cackalackies to get another super big win like that young lady in Leland I think did a few years ago, like 250-300 million??? Yippee!!! I feel lucky, oh so lucky, I feel lucky and happy and free!!!!!

Click on LUCKE-REWARDS then click on DRAWINGS to see which ones you might want to use your points to enter. You can also click on the HELP link at the top of the screen where there is lots of information, including answers to frequently asked questions.

There are 4.9 million entries in the X The Cash second-chance drawing. As soon as a date is determined for the third and final Ultimate Millions second-chance drawing, it will be announced.

I was told merchants can not be a member of the luckezone. If they can be then you need to go back to the old way and only except non winning tickets. Across the country, people with retail associations are allowed to play the lottery. And they're allowed to participate in the Lucke-Rewards program as well. The allowance of winning tickets to be entered was not a step meant to fix a problem, but to add value to the program. We encourage players to hold on to their tickets to enter them for points, and to give their business to stores that provide good customer service.

Rewards drawings are held using a random number generator according to specific security procedures. To ensure fairness to all players, all lottery drawings are done with an auditor present and all the lottery’s security practices are independently reviewed on a regular basis. The more entries you make into a drawing, the more chances you have to win. But having even just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win.
