Powerball ticket sold in Hoke County wins $50,000

Wednesday we celebrated Powerball's 25th birthday. Today someone could be celebrating a $50,000 Powerball prize.

A ticket sold at the Shop N Save on Harris Avenue in Raeford matched four white balls and the red Powerball to win.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 1-19-37-40-52 and 15 for the Powerball.

Big Winners

As always, winners have 180 days to claim prizes.

The jackpot for Saturday's drawing has climbed to $90 million.

If I have entered a certain number of tickets for example, in the Extreme Millions 2nd chance drawing, when draw is made, are my entries gone or are they good for the remaining draws?NC Lottery
The entries are only valid for one second-chance drawing.

No. In North Carolina, you have 180 days to claim a prize in one of the jackpot games, Powerball, Mega Millions or Carolina Cash 5.
