These tickets have left a bad taste in a lot of players mouths. Whoever printed the other 30 dollar ticket made sure the tickets coming out had some winners on the initial run. This ticket has been Horrible to say the least. This ticket will be out Forever!

Player said "So over 970,000 Extreme Million tickets have been entered into the second chance drawing so far. If this is true, there is no way the odds that are indicated of winning the top prize of $10 million is true nor the $1 million ones." Based on the published odds and the number of prizes awarded to date, there have been 4,043,168 tickets purchased, not 970,000. The 970K number is only the number of tickets entered into the second chance. Still with almost 25% of the tickets sold I would have expected a $10M prize to be awarded by now. I expect it to hit soon, especially since NCEL is promoting heavily.

Several of my retailers starting taking the top card off all their rolls so I took my business elsewhere. Retailers playing the lottery is a real issue than demands attention. Weather it gets it or not is another story.

Was just reading where the army veteran from Graham won 200K on the " 7" game. So the story goes... store clerk was just opening up the roll of tickets and she asked for the first one off the roll because she said she likes to play the 1st & last tickets & she won. Have read here where a lot of times the first ticket on a roll is , in many cases, a big winner and the store employees usually jump on them before anyone else can. I think that winning sequence on a roll should change but am happy for the veteran...if that's the way it really went.

So over 970,000 Extreme Million tickets have been entered into the second chance drawing so far. If this is true, there is no way the odds that are indicated of winning the top prize of $10 million is true nor the $1 million ones. This news also indicates that there is some way for the vendor, distributor or lottery to manipulate when the top prize tickets are either printed or released. Out of over 970,000 tickets only four $1 million tickets have won and no $10 million. Not mathematically possible without manipulation of some kind.NC Lottery
While 970,000 tickets may sound like a lot, it's important to remember that over 17.6 million tickets were printed for the game. That means there are a lot of tickets with prizes still to be won.

If you go under the winners tab you'll see that there is a drop-down box by the 'Second Chance drawings' section and 'Lucke-Rewards drawings' section. If you choose 'My entries' you should be able to find information about what you've entered.

I know in Tennessee when you enter your ticket in to the 2nd chance drawing if it has a winner on it, it will not allow you to enter it. Which makes you check it again for sure. While we don't have that feature on our site, we are making that feature available when we release our new app. It will allow winners to use their phone or tablet to see if their ticket is a winner.

Winners of second-chance drawings are selected randomly from the total number on entries. If you have a 100 entries like you mentioned, you have a 100 chances to win. Your odds of winning any drawing are based on the number of entries you have and the number of total entries we receive.

When you enter an Extreme Millions ticket into Lucke-Zone it is automatically entered into the second-chance drawing. You'll also receive points for your ticket which you can choose how to use.

How can you tell almost instantly if you're not a scratch off winner? When 90% of your number's are one off from the winning ones. That has to be random you'd think. Only thing is it's a constant which makes it impossible to be random. How are the numbers generated on scratch offs?NC Lottery
If you scan your ticket at a retail location you can find out instantly if you are a winner or not. To answer the second part of your question; the play part of the ticket is designed for fun. What's random about a scratch-off ticket isn't the numbers but where the winning tickets are distributed.

Your Lucke-Rewards Points can be used to enter drawings! Current options are shown on the Drawings page, along with the number of points per entry. Click the "Enter Drawing" button for the drawing you would like to enter. Then select the number of entries you would like and click "Submit Entries." Review your request and click "Submit Entry." You will see a confirmation page and also receive an email confirmation. You can request as many drawing entries as you want, provided you have enough points. There may be more than one drawing option available at a time. Prizes offered will change from time to time, so be sure to check back often to see what's available.

Back to the so called "unclaimed PB $100,000 sold at Duncan junction store in Holly Springs (really Duncan ) back in oct, this store is 3 min away from my home.This is a very rural location it's part of buckhorn township pop.less than 3,000 only locals here and very few out of town ppl,I find it hard to believe no one esp if it was bought by a local would not check their tics after 6 months ,the store owners claimed they did not know they sold the tic until feb and did not receive notice about not being claimed until 1 wk prior,I'm aware of "other so called unclaimed tics"or is it or was their REALLY a winning tic after all .Im also aware that ppl do not check their tics which I disagree but being out here in this VERY RURAL SMALL community makes me wonder if it really are "missing winners"but all the the true facts you read about the lottery scheme how can you not believe this, where is a list of the unclaimed unclaimed tics at I would like to see how many!

Mega Millions is a multi-state drawing so we don't control the price of the tickets. You are correct that Mega Millions plans to increase the cost of the ticket to $2. At the same time the starting jackpot will also increase from $15 million to $40 million. The game is also increasing a player's chances to win $1 million. Players won't see any changes to the game until October. We'll make sure everyone knows what is coming well before any changes are made.

You don't have to be a member for a certain time before you win. Every winner is drawn at random. It's important to keep in mind that some of these drawings end up with over a million entries. Keep putting your points in, your chances of winning are zero if you don't have an entry.

I am praying to I wanted help the senior and build a new living senior homes for low income seniors they forgot about, and get my mother out of nursery home and pay nurses around the clock so she be happy at home. she total care now but we all work. it hurts to see your parents there when they being there for you but she can not walk anymore and totally care but I would love to pour back into the elderly I see so many family that do not come visit and they are so lonely God tell us to take care of the Widow and Orphan and it in my heart and I do so much now but if I had more I would do more.

Unrelated issue-but I was hoping you could help. I mailed in a ticket to the p.o. box on the back of the ticket for redemption in the Raleigh center. It was only $40, but the store I took it to said it had already been cashed. That is not true, and the call center told me to mail it in for redemption. It has been about 11 days now, any idea how long it would take for this to be resolved? Thank you.NC Lottery
