Winners from all over the state have begun claiming April’s Lucke-Rewards prizes, from the small towns of Tar Heel and Garysburg to the larger cities of Concord and Greenville.

If you’re ready to add your hometown to the list, then you better get your entries in by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 30 to be eligible for three different promotions, two of which end this month!

Winning Gone Wild

We’re spreading the love this April for the monthly drawing. Ten Lucke-Rewards members will win $2,500 in this drawing. So far, more than 730,000 entries have been made.

10X Quick Cash

Interested in a chance to score $500? Then make sure to enter your points into the fourth and final 10X Quick Cash weekly drawing. Ten lucky players will win $500.

Extreme Millions Second-Chance Promotion

And as a reminder, the first Extreme Million Second-Chance drawing is here. Not only do players have a chance to land a $1 million prize in this second-chance promotion, but three players will score $50,000 and 25 will win $500. This is the first of four drawings.

Drawings for all three promotions are scheduled for Wednesday, May 3. Winners of second-chance drawings are typically notified within 48 hours after the date of the draw. Lucky winners will be notified by email. If a winner does not respond to the email notification, we will call or send certified mail.

Remember, you can view the winner’s page here. It’s updated when the winner claims their prize.

Rewards and second-chance drawings are scheduled for a particular day, not a particular time of day. Notifications are typically made within 48 hours of the date of the drawing.

There are a lot of people still having fun playing the NCEL games. Here is an example. I was in the grocery store not long ago and a gentleman was in front of me and had just left the new ticket machine when I went to get my tickets, I noticed there was still $5 dollars credit on the machine. I yelled to the man, "Sir, you still have $5 dollars left" he turned to me and said "No young lady, (I'm 65yrs young, lol) that is yours, I'm just paying it forward". Just in folks, revenue from NCEL has increased but school funding has decreased, only 27% of NCEL revenue goes toward education down from 35%from 2007.This is a disgrace and the real FACTS have come to light,save the WAWAWAWA LuckZone,I know what I just read point blank. NC Lottery
Hey there, Cowboyfan. We've seen you post a lot recently and wanted to continue to reach out and hopefully help clarify some misinterpretation! :) We are not sure where you got those numbers. What changes every year, which you might be referring to, is what percentage goes to what program. That number is determined by elected officials. Bring back all or nothing. It was the only game worth playing at 2 bucks. Cash 5 at 2$ is insane. I will not play it again. Mega millions and powerball have been on my do not play list for years now. People want better odds games. You already raised cash 5 by 2 digits. I am disappointed with all these changes.

This is not about winning the money its about the thing I need to do with it. Loving someone and know you can't help them because you don't have the money makes it hard on the hard. So if this becomes a win its not for me but for someone so very close that needs a helping hand. As the man says its a helping hand they need. I won 4$ on last Saturdays Powerball , so when I cashed the ticket in I was able to get two more, only play what u put in,like say I'm playing a scratch off and it's a 5$ ticket and win 10$ ( or more whatever) I put the 5$ I started on right back in my pocket, and if I play again I use my actual winnings, lotto hasn't really ever been my thing but I am starting to play at least one Powerball a week, can't win unless u play right lol. Click the "Enter Drawing" button for the drawing you would like to enter. Then select the number of entries you would like and click "Submit Entries." Review your request and click "Submit Entry." You will see a confirmation page and also receive an email confirmation. You can request as many drawing entries as you want, provided you have enough points. There is no legitimate need to raise the cost of Cash5 to $2. The jackpots are not multi-million. I don't know if I will play it ever again (and I buy at least $4 daily) if you raise the prices. If you go with your "rollout" game, please don't be greedy and limit the jackpot to 300k or something that amounts to 200k after taxes. Cap the jackpot to 500k before you begin rolling "some" of the extra cash down to the lower tiers. And shouldn't you roll *all* the extra cash down? Where is the difference going? There needs to be more transparency and accountability for the lottery commission. Already with "billions" going to education, yet the educational system is crying they are broke because funds were witheld by gov't to match what they got from lottery. So what was the point to having a lottery to HELP BOOST the money going to educational systems? I'm about fed up with all the greed in gov't and commissions........ making me sick to my stomach.... :(

The last 3 Extreme Millions tickets I scanned for points and the 2nd chance drawing did not say anything or acknowledge the 2nd chance entry like other games (20x and 50x) do. Is this normal? How do I know I was entered into the 2nd chance drawing???NC Lottery
You can check your entry history. If you go under the winners tab you'll see that there is a drop-down box by the 'Second Chance drawings' section and 'Lucke-Rewards drawings' section. If you choose 'My entries' you should be able to find information about what you've entered.

If you scanned an Extreme Millions ticket, you will be entered automatically into the Second-Chance drawing. To enter the Lucke-Rewards drawings (Winning Gone Wild and 10X Quick Cash) you need to use your points to enter. All you have to do is click the "Enter Drawing" button for the drawing you would like to enter. Then select the number of entries you would like and click "Submit Entries."

Just read mega mill going up to $2 in Oct and it saids odds of winning will be worse lol ,as well as the NC cash 5 increasing to $2 , I cam really see the sales on these tics going down as a result ,nobody will continue to purchase these ,like I stated before the lotto need to be repealed and replaced .

Yes it was. You can find a list of winners who have claimed their prize by going to the 'Winners' tab under 'Lucke-Rewards'. Go to the 'Second-Chance Drawing' section and make sure the drop down menu has 'all' selected. You should be able to view the winners.

Are retailers and there employees allowed to enter the second chance drawing. I always see cashiers and retailers taking tickets and scanning them when they don't purchase them but I guess the same could be said about people who dig through the trash looking for used tickets. Retailers are allowed to have a Lucke-Zone account and enter drawings.

NCEL is awesome! This app is awesome as well! But there's only one thing that I think is missing on this app... I would love to see if I won or not when I scan the ticket to get reward points. I almost threw away a $50 winner the other day because I overlooked a winning number on a scratch off. Why is there such a "Long" delay between drawing date and posting winners names that have been "drawn". Wouldn't posting the names drawn be the same as notification. IT TAKES WEEKS after the drawing to see names NC Lottery
We don't post the name until the winner claims the prize. Sometimes it takes multiple notifications until that happens, which is why it can take some time before you see the names posted.
