If you won big and were going to build a new house, what special feature would be a must-have?
Terry Splawn of Concord scratched off the top prize on a Millionaire Bucks ticket. And the new house he and his wife will build is going to have at least one item on his list.
“My wife has been wanting to move for a while,” Splawn said. “She’s been looking at new homes ever since I showed her the ticket. I’m not sure what we’ll get, but it will definitely have a man cave.”
We have our first top prize winner in the new $50,000 Taxes Paid game. Phillip Swaney of Ether bought his $2 ticket at the Qwik Chek on Broad Street in Seagrove. Top prizes in the Taxes Paid game have the taxes factored into the value of the top prize, so after the lottery withheld the minimum state and federal taxes, Swaney got a check for $50,000. Five more top prizes are still in the game.

Three players won $50,000:
- Jeremy Anderson of Goldsboro (50X The Cash)
- Angel Rush of Winston-Salem (10X The Cash)
- Jeremy Story of Lenoir ($200 Million Blowout)
Hueston Roberson of Greensboro won $20,000 playing Extreme Millions. He bought his lucky ticket at Charlie's Tobacco Outlet on Battleground Avenue in his hometown.
