Stroke of luck leads to impromptu vacation

An extra $1,000 can go a long way as one Lexington resident recently found out.

Sharon Novik was at home when she scratched off a winning combination on the new All American Bucks scratch-off game. She bought the ticket at the local Southmont Grocery in Lexington. When Novik realized the good news, she couldn’t believe she won.

As a school bus driver, Novik helps other people get where they’re going. But with this unexpected windfall, she gets to choose a destination to relax. Novik plans on heading to Daytona Beach this week to celebrate her win with her husband.

She claimed her reward on Tuesday at the lottery’s Greensboro claims center. All four top prizes of $75,000 are still in the $3 All American Bucks game.

I win some and loose more but you have to be able to afford to loose and not put the important stuff behind , pay your bills first .

Damn Sam, that didn't take long. All but 1 of the 18 winners in last weeks 2nd chance drawing have claimed their prize ( might be a record time). Unlike the lucke rewards drawings from last week, only 7 out of 15 have claimed as of today according to the updated winners page I just checked.

Certain ppl sure do complain more than me and I'm the REAL loser, be careful cause you will get email from NCEL with a gambling hotline # thinking you have a problem ,they have even sent me several LOL and I only spend $2-$10 week at the most on the draws can't even win $1 but remember folks "if you are not having fun playing then you should stop "is NCEL favorite line well I'm like the rest no fun to lose and I don't play out of boredom if I want to play fun games I will pull out my monopoly board game at least you can play without using your own money
