How do i find out where you have lottery vending machines instead of buying at store counters? I see them at grocery stores but im specifically asking is there a way i can look up who has them, not just grocery stores. Thanks!NC Lottery
Unfortunately there isn't a way for players to look up which retailers have vending machines. You'll just have to take note as you visit different locations.

It would be a GREAT and safe idea if BIG winners could be anonymous. Revealing big winners put their lives in danger. A woman from my area won $1,000,000 on a scratch ticket and right her name and winnings were posted someone broke into her house. Thank God they did not kill her.

Correct. You use your points to make entry into Lucke-Rewards drawings. The more tickets you enter the more points you can. The number of points you need to enter a drawing varies. Some you need 10 points. Some you need 30 points. You can use your points to make two entries into a drawing, if you choose. The odds of winning a drawing will depend on how many entries are received.

Regarding the "Extreme Millions" and "Ultimate Millions" second chance drawings ---- Why does NCEL show these deadline entry dates and drawing dates as 'TBD'..? Why not set a definite date for deadlines and drawings? If the jackpots and/or maximum winning amounts have been won, why continue selling them? I read here where someone buying $10 and $20 scratch-offs had just wasted his money; also I see many $30 losers in the trash can. Hey freespirit. Those games can last a long time, two years or more. The lottery doesn't schedule all the second-chance drawings at once so that one can always be available as part of the game, whether you buy a ticket when the game starts or as it comes to an end. The lottery doesn't continue selling games when all top prizes are won. Its policy is to end games then. Those are higher priced games, but they also have higher payouts in prizes.

Questions about scratch offs...does someone at NC lottery have the ability to check that a top prize has already been sent out to lottery dealers? Just wondering if ever tossed tickets or tickets stolen still appear in the 'Prizes yet to be claimed' section...otherwise, people may be chasing the last few top prizes not knowing that they had been removed from distribution awhile back. No. While a game is on sale, the lottery does not know where any of the winning instant tickets are. That's an important part of the random distribution of tickets across the state.

GREAT story of the 17 family memembers that shared that 1.7 million. according to the payouts you posted, not everyone got the same share like a normal work group would. My theory, either they all did not contribute the same amount towards the purchase of tickets. Or The Elders got more then the youngsters of that huge tribe.

No plans at the moment for a "little lotto game" or Cash 5 midday draw. We regularly replace the moving parts of the draw machines, but the outer shells are good for a long time or until the lottery decides the machines need a new look. Thanks for the feedback. The biggest win so far from a subscription purchase is a $149,970 winner of the Cash 5 jackpot on Sept. 1, 2016. Remember it doesn't matter how you buy your ticket. They all have the same chance of winning a drawing. So one way of buying a ticket is not luckier than another way. Good luck to you however you play.
