$50,000 win as Powerball climbs to $375 million

As the Powerball jackpot nears the $400 million mark, a lucky ticket sold in the mountain town of Hendersonville won big in Saturday's drawing.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Energy Mart on Brevard Road. It matched four of five white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000.

The winning numbers were 3-9-21-41-54 and 25 for the Powerball.

Big Winners

Winners have 180 days to claim prizes. The closest regional claims center to Hendersonville is in Asheville. The office is located at 16-G Regent Park Boulevard.

The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing has grown to a $375 million annuity ($235.4 million cash). We'll be watching with everyone to see if we have more North Carolina winners.

Winners are typically notified within 48 hours of the date of the drawing.

Hey LZ, when you click on the promotions tab, no banner comes up for the jeep 2nd chance drawing. You can access by clicking on any of the other 3 active 2nd chance drawing and scrolling down though. Been that way for a few days now. Just thinking some (players) might get frustrated and not be able to find it and "READ THE RULES".NC Lottery
The page is accessible now from the main promotions page. Everything with the game has been set for some time now, but had a couple administrative details to finalize today on First Tuesday :-)
