Triad store sells $515,087-winning Cash 5 jackpot ticket

Someone who got a ticket for Wednesday's Cash 5 drawing in High Point hit the jackpot for more than half a million dollars.

The lucky ticket, sold at the Main Way on South Main Street, was the only one to match all five winning numbers: 11-16-29-30-39.

Thanks to the Cash 5 $100K Days promotion, the jackpot for Thursday's drawing is $100,000 - double the regular starting jackpot. Cash 5 players have the chance to win at least $100,000 in every drawing through July 31.

Big Winners

The Cash 5 ticket was not the only one to win big Wednesday night. A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Randolph County. Someone bought the lucky ticket at Han-Dee Hugo's on U.S. 220 Business North in Randleman. It matched four out of five white balls and the red Powerball: 7-19-21-42-69 and 12.

Because no ticket matched all six numbers, the Powerball jackpot has grown to a $239 million annuity, worth $151 million cash, for Saturday's drawing.

hello folks well the numbers were 21,22,24,25,26 on Sunday night July, 30 2017. Now who really believes this is honest? If you do you are a few bricks short a load. This is rigged!! Oh, I meant to say cash 5 and I also meant to say down right cheating, crooked and everything dishonest.NC Lottery
Good morning, notsolilbit. Interesting numbers for sure. If you watch the video, you see the first number is 21, second is 25, third is 26, fourth is 22, and fifth is 24. Any of the five numbers could be a number from 1 to 41. The lottery does live drawings so everyone can see the numbers as they are drawn and posts the video for those who missed the live drawing. And there is an independent auditor at every drawing to certify the results. It's all there for everyone to see.

Does anyone ever win on any of your second chance Drawings, or even any of the promotional games. I live in Wilmington nc and I play a lot of sctratch offs, I would say a lot more than the average player... I enter lots of drawings with my rewards points, and haven't won a thing.. I know I'm in a large pool of players, but looking at your history I haven't seen any winners from Wilmington nc on any of the promotionalgames or Second chance.NC Lottery
Hey there, pdp777. No worries! People win on all of the promotional drawings and Second Chance drawings. Like you said, there are over 800,000 members in the players' club who are entering into the drawings. Great!!! I have purchased 35 tickets in the last 4 days,Cash 5,Power plays,Mega Pliers But was not lucky to be a winner but the BAD part is not one single # matched anything on any tickets???????NC Lottery
