Summer is in full swing, and to add to your summer fun, we’re giving you even more chances to win this July.

You have four chances to win $1,000 if you enter the Quick Cash weekly drawing.

You have a chance to win $10,000 by entering the Red, White & Blue Bucks drawing.

You have two chances to win a brand new Jeep by entering the next Jeep Second-Chance drawing. Winners can choose between a Jeep Wrangler, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk.

You have the chance to win one of 18 prizes ranging from $500 to $50,000 by entering the third X The Cash Second-Chance drawing.

The deadline to enter both second-chance drawings is July 31.

And you have 100,000 reasons to play Cash 5 every day in July. The jackpot normally starts at $50,000, but this month it will start at $100,000.

Can you please provide a link to a App that will scan NC Scratch off ticket bar code to see if they are winner or looser for Iphone? If this is not available it should be just like it is available in other states. It would be much more convenient than using the in store scanners.The Lottery is in it's 11th year if the app is not available when do you think an app will be available? NC Lottery

All of the Jeep entries you made before the first entry deadline on June 30 were good for the drawing held on July 5. Any entries you made after the first deadline are good for the second drawing, scheduled for Aug. 9. Promotional and second-chance drawings are held using a random number generator according to specific security procedures. To ensure fairness to all players, all lottery drawings are done with an auditor present and all the lottery’s security practices are independently reviewed on a regular basis. The more entries you make into a drawing, the more chances you have to win. But having even just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win.

Reference my question to your answer to Coastalplayer. How many alternate winners do you draw if an alternate also doesn't claim the prize? It bugs me that there are still 2 Power Cruises not claimed. With 30 days to claim there prize there should have been possibly 3 alternates. Plus it looks like one of the winners that did claim there prize got bumped up from Interior View to Ocean View. Very strange. Do you send a certified letter on all prizes if you don't get a response from an email or phone call? Thanks. NC Lottery
For second-chance and promotional drawings, there is no limit to the number of alternates the lottery will contact in order to award a prize. There are many procedures in place to reach out to alternate winners in the event the original winner does not claim the prize. We do everything according to a strict process to ensure fairness to everyone who had a chance to win in a drawing. If a winner does not respond to email notification, the lottery will call or send a certified letter.

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but was curious why you don't post 2nd chance winners names until after they claim. It would be much more fun to check a complete winner's list for your own name, rather than wait for an email/call/letter that never comes. NC Lottery
Hi CoastalPlayer. Great question! Sometimes, the winners do not claim their prize after the requisite 30 days and we have to select a replacement winner. The alternative winner then goes through the process to complete the claim. As soon as the claims are complete, the lottery will post the names of the winners.

Hello there. Don't worry! The email will be from the lottery. Even if you miss both the email and the phone call, you will receive a letter in the mail if you are the lucky winner.

Does anyone, other than myself, find it amusingly suspicious that the Cash 5 was won on June 30th, just in time for the $100k promo to start on July 1? And if you watch the online draw videos, NCEL shows the entire draw machine for the Pick 3, Pick 4 and Cash 5 then zooms in to the cage where the balls land so you can't see the actual ball that enters the chute? PB, MM and LFL all show the chute so you can see which ball actually enters the chute and ends up in the cage. Congrats to winner!NC Lottery

Once the winners have claimed their prize, you can go to the Lucke-Zone Second Chance Drawings page and scroll to the bottom. Under "Prior Drawings," you can see the winners. Hope this helps!

You get an email to the address used with your Lucke-Zone account. Then the lottery will call you. Finally, the lottery sends a certified letter. So keep your contact info up-to-date.
