Pick 3 players double their prizes again

Pick 3 players with the numbers of 4-1-9 in Wednesday night’s drawing saw their prizes double when the Green Ball was drawn.

One of those lucky winners was Angela Carrington of Durham. She won $1,000 in the drawing. She used her sister’s birthday to choose her numbers.

“I always use my sibling’s birthdays,” Carrington said. “It feels good to finally win.”

Carrington plans to use some of the money to pay for her daughter’s senior class pictures.

This is the fourth time the Green Ball has been drawn. Here’s how much players won when it hit so far.

•    Sept. 20: $796,828 in prizes
•    Sept. 14: $601,692 in prizes
•    Sept. 13: $433,658 in prizes
•    Sept. 07: $321,274 in prizes

Hi there, Cynthia. We do not currently have that feature on our website. You can always use Quick Pick at the store for the random number generator, as it works the same way.

I almost remember the formula, something like if there were 3 top prizes of $10, 000,000.00, you then multiply 3 x 10,000,000 and that game had 30,000,000 tickets printed.NC Lottery
This might be what you are talking about. On the How to Play chart with each instant game on the website, the lottery lists the odds for each prize level and the number of prizes ordered. To get the approximate number of tickets printed, multiply the number of prizes by the odds. For example, the “Million Dollar Fever” (Game #567) has odds of winning the top prize as 1 in 1,320,000. The game had 5 top prizes originally. 5 top prizes X 1,320,000 odds = 6,600,000 tickets printed.

I won a green ball on the 519. Disappointing that there haven't been more green balls on my other matches. Would be great to see a green ball drawing for every drawing for a month.

The number of tickets we print for a scratch-off game is based on how many tickets we think players will want to buy. We make that estimate after looking at how well past games have done and whether they were popular with players. If players really like a game, we can print more tickets and offer more prizes. I hope this helps!

Can you enter all of the LuckeReward drawings or only one at a time? If you win in one curent drawing, can you still win in another that is active as well?NC Lottery
You can enter as many Lucke-Reward drawings as you have points for. Each drawing is separate from each other and random so it doesn't matter if you have won in the past. If you have an entry in a drawing, you have a chance to win.

Still can't buy a WIN on this Green Ball, but got to keep trying. Will the NCEL ever come out with a game for the players? I mean minimize the profit and give us some better odds of WINNING. The Anniversary tickets should have been about the players and been LOADED with bunches of small prizes (50,100,150,500) and yes I know you have to have losing tickets that is not the point.

nevermind my previous comment Jackson, I guess that store would only pay out that much at one time. Have heard here other folks having problems cashing in their winnings at some particular stores...prob. the smaller ones that don't keep a lot of $$ on hand . Well anyway, congrats !

To enter a ticket, all you have to do is go to the Lucke-Rewards section of Lucke-Zone. There you'll see a place where you can enter the number on the back of a qualifying ticket. Once you enter a ticket, you'll get points that you can use to enter our different drawings and promotions. There is a $1 million prize remaining on the scratch-off ticket as well as a final second-chance drawing with a $1 million prize.

Don't think so. You know how smaller stores sometimes don't keep a lot of cash on hand. That's likely what the player ran into.

Second-chance drawings are random, which means you only need one entry to win. For the September Sparkles drawing: there are over 630,000 entries so far.

I sent my daughter in the store to cash the ticket in and she comes out saying they only pay up to 250. I told her that is all it was. She said the machine said it was 500. I told her let's go to the next store and this time I'm going in. Sure enough she was right. That was when the clerk said the money doubled when green ball is drawn.
