Christina Richardson of Whiteville didn’t think she’d get her dream wedding after Hurricane Matthew damaged her home last year. That changed after she won $100,000 playing Millionaire Bucks.
“I got engaged two years ago,” Richardson said. “I’ve always wanted a big beach wedding, and now this will let us have one.”
Richardson bought the lucky ticket at Sam’s Pit Stop on Sam Potts Highway in Hallsboro.
For Mark Bruso of Fitchburg, Mass., a $200,000 prize will let him follow his dream of bicycling to the places where he was stationed at as a Marine.
Bruso broke a spoke while riding through Wilmington. He decided to get a $500 Frenzy scratch-off ticket while his bike was repaired. He says the win will let him extend his trip.
“I’ve been planning this trip for almost four years,” Bruso said. “It’s been the best decision of my life. Next stop is Parris Island where I went to boot camp. Who knows though, after winning this I might ride all the way Southern California where I was also based.”
Bruso bought his lucky ticket at the Speedway on Market Street in Wilmington

Help me clarify the scratch off logic. 1. $30 ticket is printed in it's billions (a guess) where 4 top prizes of $10,000,000 along with all prizes are printed out all at once in this enormous stacks. 2. Tickets are released randomly as store owners in all the towns, cities, counties in North Carolina request them. It's hard to believe that NCEL is not a least keeping track of those 4 top prizes. I'll believe it when I see ìt.
