Cash 5 players, get ready to win more money. The jackpot normally starts at $50,000, but during the month of February, we’re doubling the starting jackpot to $100,000.

Do the winter blues have you down? We want to cheer you up with some extra cash. We’re going to pick one winner of $25,000 in our monthly Lucke-Rewards drawing. And each week, five players will win $500.

That’s not all, starting in February you can enter your points for a chance to win a V.I.P. NASCAR experience. You could be the Grand Marshal or Honorary Starter at the NCEL 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

And finally, make sure you ‘Multiply The Cash’ by entering one of four second-chance drawings. You could win up to $50,000.

Wow that's interesting. There were ~8,899,340 tickets sold this drawing period so LZ members had to buy 62% of all tickets sold. I based my numbers on the fact the 800K LZ members are 22% of the eligible population that play lottery games. So 22% of 8,899,340 is 1,977,631 tickets. Hey, Mike S. Got numbers for you. The lottery now has 929,673 members of the Lucke-Rewards program. As for the drawings, the final X The Cash drawing ended up with 5,607,822 entries. Don't confuse entries with people. Some folks can have multiple entries. And here are entries for other X The Cash second-chance drawings: Aug. 9 - 3,348,399; June 7 - 4,472,625; and April 5 - 8,550,400.

DG - they don't, I was pointing out the app needs to be fixed. And in regards to your bet - you're on. Based on my observations there will be ~1,977,631 entries if ALL LZ members entered ALL their tix. More than likely it will be ~988,816 entries. LZ - how many entries were there and BTW when are you going to put up the number of entries in these contest that players have been asking for repeatedly? NC Lottery

Hey mike, the x the cash game ended on 01/31. The new mutiplier 2nd chance game doesn't start till next week when they roll out the new suite of tickets. I was gonna enter some 537 I got this morning but decided to hold off to see if they will count next week. Prolly not, but time will tell...

NCEL - I scanned some 50x tickets (game #537) this morning and your mobile "app" displayed the second chance entry banner saying that I was entered in the second chance drawing but my points history does not reflect any entries in the new multiplier second chance drawing. Hi there, Mike. We are looking into why you received a banner stating you were entered. The promotion you are referring to has ended. It ended yesterday. So while you would have received points, you wouldn't have entered into a second-chance drawing because there is no second-chance drawing of which to be entered into for game #537.

The NC lottery needs let more people to win in second chance drawings beside same people every time. I put in second chance ticket and I have won since 2015 on it, other people win every other month, and nobody win in Caswell Rockingham Person CO. I know what say you about that is we 807 thousand people play second chance. You hear about somebody winning all time eastern \ southern part of the state. Is that where the all winning tickets go I believe so wont tell me no different til I see start to win up this way. I think there need be a change at the top. One more thing when the drawings are shown at 11:22 at night on the TV station they need to be shown on time. They do call this NC ED LOTTERY start share the winning tickets with us or will take our money and go to VA to play there. By the way is name no win list for people who make comment or does my comment go in the delete file. Thanks HAVE A GOOD DAY

Would like to know that, if a person wins in the second chance drawing or the lucke rewards drawings and you call their listed phone number do you leave a message on their voice mail so they know that it is legit and a number to call back? Some people may be working and cannot answer their phone. NC Lottery
Great question, Cindy. If a winner does not respond to the first email notification, we will follow up with a telephone call and leave a voicemail. If necessary, we will also send certified mail. If you ever want to check the legitimacy of a phone call or email, you can always call Customer Service.
