Drawing deadlines are fast approaching

Don’t miss out on some Creepy Cash this Halloween. Time is running out for you to enter the monthly Lucke-Rewards drawing for your chance to win $15,000. You have until Wednesday night to enter.

And here’s a chance to brighten up those early nights as we “fall back” with an extra $100. Every week in November we’ll choose five lucky players to win $100. You have until Sunday to enter the first drawing.

And this is your last chance to win a pack of Powerball/Mega Millions scratch-off tickets. The $5 ticket offers top prizes of $200,000. Each package has 60 tickets, so that’s sixty chances to win a top prize. We’ll choose a hundred winners in this last drawing. You have until Sunday to enter.

All of the drawings are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Sorry to hear you aren't having more luck, Vivian. Our Lucke-Rewards and Second Chance drawings can sometimes have upwards of 1 million entries. The more entries you make into a drawing, the more chances you have to win. But having even just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win! We hope your next entry is a lucky one.

Hello, I would like to know how do you guys choose a winner for lucky rewards,I have been playing for years, and putting in many entries..and i still haven't won anything NC Lottery
Hi Patricia, we use a random number generator that is independently certified to select winners from all the entries submitted for each Lucke-Rewards and Second-Chance drawing. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries that have been entered for that drawing.

Hey Denver and Mike, We wanted to thank you for being so persistent with this. We have followed up with our team who manages the totals on the Draws icon. They have identified that there is indeed an issue with the totals displaying correctly and are working to address it as we speak. In the meantime, we wanted to let you know that there is no issue with your actual entries. They are all still there, the icon is just not displaying how it used to for the time being. You should be able to see the correct totals on the Draws page.

Yes DG :( LZ-the rewards/2nd chance needs to be fixed once and for all. Before the infamous disappearance of the Rewards tab, the draws on the dashboard counted the number of active draws that you were entered in, both rewards and 2nd chance. After the disappearance of the rewards tab, the dashboard started counting the number of entries in the rewards tab and added that to the number of draws in the 2nd chance tab. Today I have 122 entries in the rewards tab and 5 drawings in the 2nd chance for a total of 127, dashboard says I have 77, wrong-I should have 8 draws. The draws on the dashboard should ONLY show the number of active draws that a player has, not entries and draws. For the dashboard and rewards/2nd chance to work correctly all databases and associated queries, scripts/procedures that update a game's and player’s data, and the web page that presents the data must work correctly and in harmony. The long running issue of expired draws is still not fixed. Send me the code and I'll fix it for free!

LZ, I think you are missing the point of what we are trying to say. Above draws , mine says (20). I have only 14 in the Thanks a Plenty and a ship load of entries in all 6 of the current "active" 2nd chance drawings. It should just say (7). One for each drawing I am in. That is how it was b4 the lucke-rewards tab disappeared. Now everytime we use points to enter a drawing the # increases. But does not increase when we scan or enter 2nd tickets...NC Lottery

PER THE RULES ON THE 2ND CHANCE PB/MM DRAWING FOR THE PACK OF TICKETS..Eligible Games A valid entry shall consist of one (1) eligible Powerball or Mega Millions game ticket valued at $10 or more on a single ticket, purchased from October 1-October 31, 2018, and entered during the promotion period!!!!...I entered 4 in each of the 1st two. Saved the 4 from the 3rd & 4th drawing. Then since the rules clearly stated "tickets must be purchased 10/01-10/31" I bought tickets for todays drawing on Wed 10/31. I believe tickets bought today & Saturday will not be eligible, even though the entry deadline is 11/04. NC Lottery
You're correct Denver! If you purchased it on or before 10/31 it will be eligible. We just wanted to give players a few extra days to enter the tickets into the second-chance drawing, which is why the entry period goes until 11/4.

ok I entered 5 and have 11 total. Being 1st of November and new drawing starts. Now how about the other drawings don't seem to add in? Or just the monthly drawing is added?NC Lottery
Hey William, Are you looking at the "Draws" icon? If so, that icon reflects the total entries in "Active" drawings. As a drawing ends and the entry period is closed, those numbers will no longer be included in the total. You can still view them by visiting the "Draws" page itself and selecting "Expired" from the drop-down menu.

Hey LZ, unless this is the way it's going to be, the draws tab is still acting funky. Yesterday lets say above draws mine said 106. That would be 100 entries for the monthly drawing plus the (6) 2nd chance drawings I am in. This morning it just said (6), for the 2nd chance drawings. After I entered the new monthly drawing 5 times, now it says (11). Will it now be a running count?? Ok with me. I have not entered any of the weekly drawings , so I'm not sure about them being in the running total. It is showing 2nd chance & lucke-rewards just fine now after you click on the draws tab.NC Lottery
Hey Denver! We had to check with our web team on this one. The total that would show up above the "Draws" icon reflects the total entries in "Active" drawings. Once the entry period has closed for a drawing (for example, the Creepy Cash drawing) that means it is no longer "Active", so that number will be updated to not include those entries. Does that help answer your question?

Hey William, 2 more tidbits of info. If you notice the #s on the draws tab add up to how many 2nd chance drawings you are in plus how many entries you have in the luckerewards. Example if you are in all 6 current 2nd chance drawings and have 50 entries in the monthly drawing you would see 56 on the draws tab. Also after you click on the enter tab, scroll to the bottom of the page past all the contest that are over you will see what NEXT months monthly drawing will be for, just incase you want to save a few points for that drawing. Hey William, Don't worry--your entries are still there! Our web team is working on fixing the Lucke-Rewards tab on the draws page, so it is not showing up right now, but all of your entries are still being counted.
