It’s off to the races here at the North Carolina Education Lottery. And to celebrate this year’s Kentucky Derby, we’re giving you more chances to win.

Enter the Derby Dash monthly drawing for your chance to win one of two $10,000 prizes.

You could also score some Quick Cash by entering our weekly drawing. Each week we’ll choose ten lucky winners of $500.

And finally, the Big Money Super Ticket means big points during the month of May. We’re giving you 10X the points when you enter a Big Money Super Ticket. That means instead of getting at least 10 points, you’ll get at least 100 points.

Hoping for one of the $10,000 prizes. Had 449 entries for the april’s showers 10 prizes of 5,000 and unfortunately got no congratulatory email. Was wondering if there’s a way to see the total number of entries? Just so I feel better about losing :) NC Lottery
Hi Corey, there were 1,841,700 entries in the April Showers drawing.

LZ in regards to Paul G.'s and DG's comment it's on the Lucke Rewards page. The tagging for the All, Active and Expired filter is hosed up. I reported that issue in my Apr 3rd post. Here is the tagging for the $500 Quick Cash drawing from 8/3/2016: tr class='PointsForDrawings MyEntries Active MyEntries Active MyEntries Active MyEntries Active Expired dataRows'. Notice the repeat status' and because it still has the "active" tag it will render on the web page when the active filter option is used. The tag should only have one status and look like: tr class='PointsForDrawings MyEntries Expired dataRows' or tr class='PointsForDrawings MyEntries Active dataRows'. It looks like the script to create the code for the Luck-Rewards page is appending game status instead of updating them. The Second Chance page coding is correct. Pass this to your programmers and they should be able to fix it in short order. NC Lottery

I play the $30 extreme millions ticket often and a lot, and I check everyday the prizes remaining. The other day for the prizes of breakeven $30 remaining was under 529,000. I check today and its up over 577,000. Why? NC Lottery

Hi Della, You will be entered into the Second Chance drawing regardless of which method you use to input the ticket in the app. Thanks!

Playing 2nd chance in the past was quite simple. I keep adding my tickets but I have no idea to find the games to play. It was quite simple in the past. Please make it that away again. I have points to burn but can't find the place to play. NC Lottery
Hey Hollis -- If you purchase a ticket with the Second Chance drawing, you will be automatically entered in that Second Chance drawing when you scan the ticket on the "Collect" page of the app. However, if you are looking to redeem your points for a Lucke-Rewards drawing, you will want to navigate to the "Enter" page in the app. There you will be able to view and enter all of the current drawings. Hi Linda, We typically notify winners by email within 48 hours of the drawing. If the winner does not respond to the email notification, we will follow up via phone call and, if necessary, send certified mail.
