Education is a cause we are proud to help raise money for. It’s a cause you — our players — help support when you buy a lottery ticket.

Many of you may know high school or college graduates preparing for the next chapter of their lives. Graduation season is an exciting time for everyone – for graduates and their families.

To join in the excitement, we are sharing some stories on how money raised by the lottery helped make college more affordable for over 27,800 North Carolinians last year, helping to make their dreams a reality.

Whether you prefer the thrill of a scratch-off or the anticipation of a draw game, your fun helps support the next generation’s education – from Pre-K to college.

We tip our hats to you and to this year’s graduates.

Hey Mike, good estimate. LZ, I read on a blog a short while back that the vending machines were going to except debit cards by mid Sept.. Out here in WNC they still do not.NC Lottery
Hey, Denver. We still hope to allow lottery players to use debit cards in our vending machines, but the new feature is not ready to roll out quite yet. No date set -- so stay tuned!

Thank you. My grandson is still undecided on his path. My nephew's son joined the Navy to serve and protect this country we live in. We are very proud of them both. Still have 4 other grandchildren in school.

Dang shame people can make comments that are nothing more then VERY frivolous complaints, but can't congratulate our high school graduates. I have a grandson & grandnephew graduating. Congrats to them and everyone else in the class of 2018. GOOD LUCK to you all !!!!NC Lottery
