Those are the voices of students in North Carolina schools, thanking their teachers for the difference they are making in their lives. We wanted to share some of those voices today to join in observance of National Teacher Appreciation Day.
The compliments are part of those gathered weekly during the school year as four TV stations across North Carolina produce stories of some of the great teachers in North Carolina. The stories appear throughout the school year on WITN in Eastern North Carolina, WRAL in the Triangle, WGHP in the Triad, and WLOS in the mountains. They are produced as part of a partnership between the lottery and the four stations that show lottery drawings including Powerball and Mega Millions and the nightly drawings of Carolina Cash 5, Carolina Pick 4, and Carolina Pick 3.

The stories are a great way to spotlight good teachers and show some appreciation for the work they do throughout the year.
