$100,000 Cash 5 jackpot about to expire

The clock is ticking, and we need your help to find the winner of a $100,000 Cash 5 jackpot. The winner only has until Wednesday, Aug. 15, to claim the prize before it expires.

So here’s what you need to know. The ticket for the Feb. 16 drawing was sold at the Piggly Wiggly on U.S. 258 in Kinston.

The winning numbers are: 13-24-32-33-37

The winner must bring the ticket to lottery headquarters in Raleigh by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15. The deadline ends the 180-day period winners have to claim a prize.

So check your tickets and then help us spread the word. Call or text your friends and post it on social media. We don’t want to see this prize go unclaimed. It takes a lot of luck to win big, and we want to make sure the winner doesn’t miss out!

Michael I agree most of the winners are from Raleigh n Charlotte I agree people stop waisting your money if you want to win move to either one of these places. Your chances are greater to win

The only people who win are in areas of Raleigh,greenville,fayettevile and douthern part of state not in northeastern part of state,betrie hertford and Northampton seems people are wasting their moneyNC Lottery

Hi Schmeka, The day after a drawing where someone wins the jackpot, we announce that a winning ticket was sold and include information on the retailer that sold it. After a few months, we post a banner in the store in an effort to spread the word. Finally, two weeks before the expiration date, we send out a media release and share the news on social media. As the expiration date for that prize approaches, we want to do everything we can to help get the word out about the unclaimed prize!
