If you played Powerball yesterday, check your tickets! Saturday’s drawing produced a $2 million and a $50,000 win in North Carolina.
The $2 million ticket was sold at the Quik Trip on Concord Parkway South in Concord.
The winning numbers were 9-17-34-59-64 for the white balls and 22 for the red Powerball. The North Carolina win of $2 million was the largest prize won nationally in Saturday’s drawing.
The ticket matched all five white balls drawn to win $1 million. Because the ticket had the Power Play feature, the prize doubled to $2 million when the 2X Multiplier was drawn. The ticket beat odds of 1 in 11.7 million.
The $50,000 ticket was sold at the Circle K on West Wendover Avenue in Greensboro.
That ticket matched four of the white balls and the red Powerball drawn, beating odds of 1 in 913,129.
Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.
The jackpot in Wednesday’s drawing has reached $229 million, worth $134.3 million cash.

For me collecting a reward payout these days from the Lottery vendors is becoming a bit of a discouragement since I have to plan ahead which gas station im going to use to cash my ticket today. I won $200 on the Big Ticket and this is not the first time its happened to me when cashing prizes under $599. The first stop said they can only pay out $100 prize, the second stop said they only had $40 in their til, and the last stop said they can cash it but they can only give me $100 cash and the other $100 as a money order. Oh and i would have to pay $1.50 for the money order. So where can i now cash this money order?
