Check those tickets! 13 games ending soon

Thirteen scratch-off games end Friday, Nov. 22, so if you have won a prize on one of those games you have three months to claim it.
The games that are ending are:

•    $20 ticket: $4,000,000 Platinum Payout
•    $10 ticket: Crown Jewels, 50X the Cash
•    $5 ticket: Win It All, 20X The Cash, Bonus Crossword Cash
•    $3 ticket: Loteria 2019, 15X Crossword
•    $2 ticket: Wild Cherry Doubler, Triple Play
•    $1 ticket: Hit $50, 2019, Blackjack

You have 90 days from the announced end date to claim a prize. For the games listed above, all prizes must be claimed on or before Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at lottery headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Mail-in claims must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Remember, postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.
Check your tickets carefully and make sure you're not overlooking some prizes. We'd hate to see anyone miss out on a big win.

Hi Chris, there are 407,919 entries in the Carolina Panthers Experience drawing and 2,126,212 entries in Gobble Up the Green through 11/17. We'll have the latest update on Monday as well. Thanks!

Hi Shawndell, You can view your entire history of tickets you have collected points for by visiting the Lucke-Rewards draw history page from your Dashboard.

With so much scamming and telemarketers..how can you know you've won with second chancesNC Lottery
We understand that folks might be suspicious when receiving calls from numbers they don't know. When a player wins a second-chance drawing, we will first send an email notification. Then, we will call and leave a voicemail if necessary. Finally, we will send a certified letter. If you receive a phone call and you aren't sure if it's legitimate, you can always hang up and call us back at our main Customer Service line to confirm.

Hi Roland, The minimum requirements for funding and purchasing are a direct result of transaction fees. We know folks enjoy playing the lottery as a form of entertainment, and would never want our players to play outside what they have set aside for that. That is why you can still go to any retailer and purchase your tickets with no minimum requirements.

This new app is awesome except when I go to scan an check my scratch off tickets. The old application would let you turn your camera light on, this new app want let me turn my light on so that my phone can see my ticket. It's hard scanning tickets even during a sunny day the app still can't see my card to scan. I play scratch offs quiet frequentlyNC Lottery

My app signs me out if I don't use it quickly enough. Aggravating! Just getting stuck in line can be long enough. Got used to the old version. Tired of it asking to deposit. I don't plan on it. Not happy about Platinum Payout getting pulled on short notice. I get that the newer tickets are set up to rotate faster, but it is upsetting that there was no "On pick up" posted for PP. It just disappeared, no packs being sent out, can't find anywhere nearby.

Please change the ticket entry back to the was it was! It's so time consuming now and my tickets are piling up! Also when I scan my draw tickets they do not give a confirmation and I don't get the points. I only receive points for scratch tickets. I used to just scan the PDF417 barcode, but now I have to scan that but enter the other barcode manually! Please make it easy again! Thank you.NC Lottery

Hi Chester, You can view all of your Lucke-Rewards entries by clicking on your Dashboard and then selecting "Lucke-Rewards Draw History". You can view draw dates by visiting the Lucke-Rewards page and selecting the drawing you are interested in. Good luck!

Hi Pauline, You can log out of the website by clicking your username in the upper right and then selecting "Sign Out" at the bottom of that menu. If you click on your username and aren't seeing the option to log out, please hit CTRL and - on your keyboard, as your screen is probably too zoomed in to see the option. Hope this helps!

Be careful when cashier scan your ticket. It will come up previously cashed and you didn't get the money. It happened to me with the new Holiday Gifts $5 ticket. I thought I won $15, but it was $5 I accidentally scratched a wrong number. I did call lottery headquarters to make sure it weren't a $15 prize. But the but the store clerk did not give me $5. I still have the ticket. What do I do? NC Lottery

@ william D. crown jewels was not popular because it was near impossible to find. When asking retailers ( many) about it they said the lottery folks took them away from their stores. I checked in several towns because I travel for my job. Wild Cherry, $ 2.00 ticket, is ending now also and has 5 top prizes of 20K left...those tickets were getting very hard to find for MANY weeks before it's near end.

Thanks for the feedback, William. There are several factors that are considered when choosing to end a game. If all of the top prizes have been won we will certainly end that game, but if a game is no longer popular with players it is sometimes ended so that we can create new games with more prizes that our players might enjoy more.

LZ, I would like to make a few suggestions to improve the website if I may. Players are having trouble finding remaining prizes on scratch offs & such things, cause they don't know where to look. Quick fix , at the top of the page , change (PLAY NOW) to (GAMES). Leave the drop down menu the same. My only other concern is the 15 minute time out. Could you please change that to 30 minutes. There seems to be a discrepancy between your view of inactivity & we the players. Is scrolling over & reading the blogs & checking #s & remaining winners & such not being active. Or do you have to be redeeming points or entering tics. It seems like we get logged out 15 minutes after logging in no matter what we are doing. NC Lottery
