@TIM M., Just a quick reminder that playing the lottery is meant to be a fun form of entertainment–like seeing a movie or going out to dinner. We never want you to spend money that you have set aside for necessities on playing the lottery. Games of chance aren't a strategy to achieve a financial goal, and it might be a good time to take a break. We strive to maintain a positive community where folks feel welcome to share their thoughts and engage in discussions. Only comments that go against our community standards are removed. You can review those standards here: https://nclottery.com/Rules

@DENVER G, you are correct, I had that backwards. I realized when I came back to this thread but I don't think you can edit comments here like on Facebook. @NC LOTTERY, the reason I respond to him is because he seems to be trying to provoke me. I believe it started when I said I didn't believe in fortune-telling. He responded criticizing me for my beliefs, like, IF you're a Christian, WHY are you playing the lottery? Well, that's a good question. I guess it's because I'm broke and seeking a way out of my circumstances. I'm disabled so I know the money will NOT come from working so I have to do something. As for Denver though, he seems to be baiting me, trolling, if you will. So, what can be done about this?

@Denver G. and @Tim M: We appreciate that you are having a spirited conversation, but please remember to keep it positive and productive!

Tim you seem like an intelligent man, I just don't understand all your comments. I have never been accused of being a bible thumper (holier then thou). But don't you have the reap & sow thing backwards? Besides that I wasn't saying digging in the trash for more lucky rewards points and 2nd chance tickets wasn't very Christian like ( even though it is cheating). I was saying smart aleck remarks are not very Christian like. It's all good though, my brother from a different mother. You carry one and do what ever you are comfortable with and have a blessed day..........

too bad when you mess up on page they lock you out for good. Can’t enter ticketsNC Lottery
Sorry about that, Johnnie. If you make ten consecutive unsuccessful attempts to enter a ticket, you will be locked out of the system for 24 hours. This is a security feature to help prevent fraudulent entry. If you are having a different issue, please give our online support team a call at 1-855-767-1863 and they can look into what might be going on.

You take the low road and I'll take the high road and I'll be in Raleigh before yee.

@DENVER G, no, I don't say Karma because I don't believe in Karma. I do believe what the Bible says, that you reap what you sow. For example, if you rob a bank, that's what you reap. What you sow is being arrested, convicted, and sent to Federal prison. You can take that to the bank. LOL. @TATIANA D, thanks for seeing my point, even if Denver G can't appreciate it. We're being honest about it, not self-righteous. Sure thing, I'm gonna cash a winning ticket I find. WHY allow it to go to the landfill, forever unclaimed? And there are probably any number of reasons for throwing away winners. One is not being familiar with how to play or scan for winners. The unscratched barcode is a dead giveaway. Other reasons might be poor eyesight, oversights, being in a hurry, etc. As broke as I am, yeah, I'll claim it and not be a hypocrite about it either.

8/25/2019 12:22 - Tatiana D.

Tim, I second what you are saying. A lot of winners are thrown away. The most I ever found is $100. And countless smaller amounts. Somebody here mentioned that one guy found $200,000 winning ticket in the trash somewhere.

8/24/2019 02:26 - Denver G.

That doesn't sound very Christian like. Can you say KARMA ????

8/23/2019 10:13 - Tim M.

I find winners in the trash. I'm not kidding. Sometimes 200 bucks. Yeah, keep on not knowing what you've got. Let ME check your tickets for you. "SORRY, NOT A WINNER." LOL.
